Battlefield 1943 aims to be a 1.1 recreation of the PS3/360 console exclusive Battlefield game. The gameplay will be arcade oriented and a focus will be on balance. The setting is the Pacific War between the United States and the Empire of Japan during World War II. Like the original BF1943, the game will only have 3 classes per faction, and the weapons and vehicles will try to replicate best as possible all the originals found in that game as well. The maps are going to also be based on the originals. Coral Sea, Guadal Canal, Iwo Jima and the classic Wake Island.

crashes. A few seconds of black screend and crash without any error.
Not quite sure as to why? We extensively tested this mod on a variety of machines and everybody was able to run it fine and it was very stable. Are you able to run other mods fine? Have you updated all drivers? DirectX?
Yes i can run other mods such as Battlefield Korea or Forgotten Hope without any problems, without even any lags, i have updated drivers. Hmmm, i'll check my directx version, but i think it was actualized, maybe Steam has changed my version:)

just realized that EA shut down the Revive project ..RIP online BF2 these are sad times , especially with mods like this being released :(
You can still play online with Battlefield Hub, but somebody would need to host servers for us.

Yep! Not sure what all to do, you will have to research all of that yourself but it will allow people to see and connect to online games.

No you do not, this works with regular Baattlefield 2, but BF2 HD is fully supported too.

is it because of the shader caches? i took the shader caches from the download and replaced the one in documents,battflield2, mods and all. so why doesn't it work?
