READ HERE FOR FULL MOD DESCRIPTION

In general the changes were:

  • All the clans now have an extra building which they can train a "new" unit.
    The "extra" buildings are obtained by upgrading buildings (which ones exactly will be listed below).
  • All clans have "ultimate" heroes, which you get by training some of the regular heroes (which ones exactly will be listed below).
    The ultimate form will give the hero a new ability (i'll leave you guys to find out what they are...) and more vigor and resistance, but you won't be able to summon them again if they die.
  • Some heroes had to be replaced in the keep for the "new" heroes...you can still get them in-game which will be explained in the "Old heroes" part.

======================== Issues and feedback ========================

1 - If you have problems running this mod with the GOG version of Battle Realms, you can try deleting the "goggame.dll" file inside the folder (Credit for discovering this to "Gregor8356")

2 - An issue that might happen is the mini-map going mostly black...in my case, simply minimizing and returning solves that problem (alt+tab).

3 - If Battle Realms say it can't open the ".dat" file after you copied the new one, make sure it is spelled exactly as the old one was...that is, "Battle Realms.dat".

Also, i welcome any type of feedback such as balance suggestions, and suggestions for new content. Have fun, hope you enjoy the mod!

Those shadow monsters from the BR intro. Are they units that could be used, or are they not made as real player models?

Hi i have bug in cutscenes campaign kenji's journey in dragon path kenji become ninja and otomo become gaihla and i got game crash when kenji arrive at serpentholm

The models changing are kinda "normal", bc it was a quick mod i did by using the multiplayer mod. I'll eventually do a dedicated mod just for singleplayer that doesn't affect MP, which should not have these weird behaviors (like crash and wrong models)

Hi i want to ask, since i can spawn kenji with your mod, i want AI do it too just for make it fair. So how to make AI do spawn kenji that already in keep? can you teach me with modding please!

I confess i haven't tested, but i thought my "Ultimate Heroes in Keep" version would let AI use them.

If that's not the case, then i would say that the problem is that i put in new Hero ID's...so likely the AI is not programmed to use neither those unit ID's or Battle Gear ID's.

The solution was be simple: edit the mod so that is uses the original hero ID and Battle Gear ID...this way the AI will know how to use it.

For example: AI knowns how to use Otomo (ID=105), so you can switch Kenji's ID with Otomo, and also their Battle Gear (Otomo uses "Battle Cry" → ID=91)

Nerds been hackers going on on the battle so watch out for that if you see an aimbot make sure to ban him or if someone works for epic games and then him cuz he's a hacker or in water whatever he is just please read this read this page I hope you like it please if you do. So Far:
-Zoom Out feature + 1080 resolution
-Scaling down the actual units to fit the current building sizes would also help realism.
-With most people's current day comps we should be able to run the game with dozens of towers and at least 100 in population size.
-Would be cool to have the spirit warrior have the ability to go invisible, and since it's a spirit regenerate health completely. Maybe only units with magic and fire can hurt it. Or it's time in this plane is limited and loses health like a zombie over time. I think zombies should be able to stay permanently until their body is destroyed just with not much health as their only strength should be numbers and "lucky" hits. Necromancer's Zombification ability should have greater range. Also, yea I feel it's better that heroes and Necromancer should always come back from the dead.
-Buildings should be a lot tougher to destroy taking actual siege style weapons to destroy. I know by saying that keeping the wolf clan away from your base takes necessary extra precaution since even their basic units wield siege-like weapons, but that's their clan's specialty anyhow.
-Hero Kill Ratio could/should be able to take on 3-5 basic/2-4 combo (more then one dojo)/1-2 multiple/elite/hero units depending on who they are and who they face in battle.
-Ninjas can lay mines as well just not as many...they don't have the heft that cannoneers do. Maybe you can tack on "Blinding Flash" as another ability they have.
-Would be cool is Druids cool heal their buildings when they attack it.
-Teppo's Rockets need to be beefed up, they are exploding rockets afterall.
-Where's Budo? Flaming Bhudha was a favorite... remove destroy button?
-Where's the lotus hero that builds helpers? LoL I seem to miss those unique heroes.

Hmm, quite interesting choices...but what you want is basically to change the whole game into something new.

I'd be happy to help you make your own mod with the things you want...but i'll likely not bring your ideas into this mod, bc what i want is basically to "expand" the original BR and so i try very hard not to change the original assets.

Some heroes i had to remove from the keep to make space for new heroes...but they are still in the game. Budo for example i think you get him by sending Vetkin to the bathhouse (and vice-versa...this is in the "Description" file that comes with the download, in the "old heroes" part of each clan). Flaming Bhudha, iirc you get him by sending Teppo to the Monastery (and vice-versa) etc

Yes, I do like new things to spice up the game a bit... wouldn't it be interesting to see what new strategies could take place with such changes? To modify and expand the game is to add on new functions, options, assets that were not otherwise present in the original game. Your Hero switch was clever and I apologize for not reading the description. The additions I suggest are based on the logic of what might actually take place in reality. I unfortunately lack as much time to mod, I'd rather squeeze in a game or two whenever I have time to kill. I was hoping your two version mod would incorporate the ideas I'd hope you'd like enough to implement into your mod with full credit to you for work and thought on if you wanted to add them in or not. I'm still just the cheerleader. XD Hope to play your next version when it's ready. :)

But i'll likely not do them...at least not any time soon. I also lack much time and i'm doing basically the same as you lol

Sorry to keep you waiting so much for the next version, maybe when i take my holidays i'll have time to focus more on it :P
