Allied High command is hastily rushing re-enforcements to the area, to counter the surprise attack and prevent them from crossing Meuse river. Three different variants of the Panzer 38(t)s late war usage.
Grille Aussault Gun Ausf. M ( by Tankdestroyer )
Flakpanzer 38 (by DMz & Eliwood )
and a Marder III.
All three are buildable for Waffen-SS tree in "Nordwind" Scenarios.
The Marder III will make an appearance in "Operation Nordwind".
17th SS Panzergrenadierdivision had one or two left, as well as some
Flakpanzer 38s, which can be additionally built in Sturmarmory.
The "Grille" will replace the "Hummel", and the Marder III will
be buildable instead of the SdKfz 251/22 "Pakwagen"
Halftrack, what is exactly "Operation Nordwind" in-game? Some sort of singleplayer scenario?
Sweet-looking skins BTW :)
There will be 4 new maps and 2 old ones which
feature locations in Alsace/France.
In that area, the Germans launched a minor counteroffensive,
to relieve pressure from the Ardennes front.
If you play on one of these maps, you will have different
doctrine and unit choices, which reflect units involved in that offensive.
( For example, 17th SS PzGrenadierdivision.)
Oh I see! That sounds really cool! I'll be looking forward to them!
Love what you're doing with the whole Nordwind module - looks like we're going to have an entire new BotB experience once it's released! :)
Out of curiousity, are these the new smaller-scale Marders or the original-size ones?
And, if the update happens to come out during June-July I might be able to finally make the increase squad size/arty mini-mod we've talked about, if you remember :D
Anywho, thanks for the update and continue the great work, it's much appreciated!
not entirely new. samesame, but different. ;)
No, they arent. As far as I know the original size ones never went public.
Although I would love them. And original size grille and flakpanzer 38, too. ;)
