As the code wasn't at a really playable stage, we decided to make it a HLDM replacement pack, though you run it as a normal HL modification. It comes with 2 maps (more to come in the coming weeks), 14 different ork player models, weapon replacements (ork axe, slugga, shoota, big shoota, rokkit launcha, burna, and stikk bomb), custom sprites, and also Jumbots (courtesy of Rich Whitehouse). Download and enjoy :)

I'm prety sure I've played this mod, or it's predecessor for Half-Life 1 when I was a kid. It was probably named "Warhammer 40k: Waaagh Pack", according to the info I've managed to find, and I'm pretty sure I remember those orks with wooden bolters, that "claw" thing and some other stuff from the screens. Is there any place that stuff couldbe downloaded from?

The last time i played a warhammer based FPS, it was fire warrior.
no offence but it sucked. no drivable vehicles, crap plot, the guns just didnt feel right, and no deacent multiplayer.

you could use some modles from the RTS dawn of war, maby add some better textures.

I dont want this mod to die. i know it has a chance for life because there are still users downloading the little ork deathmatch they released on fileplanet. but the owners of the mod seem to have done nothing for it since 2 or 3 years ago. I propose that we try to save it. Like i said, i've no experience with modding, so i cant do it, but with a competent team it cant be that hard. The only thing i've got going for me is a lot of time on my hands. Of course this provides that they are actually letting the mod go, and would be willing to give over their work so far. but if they've abandoned it im pretty sure they are. so just email me at Jaredthebold@yahoo.com if you're interested in helping or leading on this effort.
