Bailter Ray has made it through to the finals of the make something unreal contest best non-FPS Mod category, this should enable us to update our mod to version 2.0. Here is a speed run demo of our current build, we expect to have a final version of this released on ModDB by the beginning of November. Happy modding and congratulations to all finalists.
Bailter Ray v2.0 has had a lot of focus on level design. The level includes a tutorial at the beginning to teach players all the game play elements. We have also gone with a more linear streamlined level progression with the map, which includes challenges to over come every step of the way, players will be required to make effective use of the tools in the characters arsenal such a jumping, shooting and dodging. The game also has collectibles which are not required to complete the game, but if you managed to collect them all will unlock a bonus level which is our original map.
Anyway we are very pleased with how the new map is turning out, it feels much more like a complete game with rewards for high achievements and re-playability, but most of all its fun and exciting with new challenges to always keep the player on their toes.
