Here we have The Federations primary starbase in a near complete state on the texture front.
i think i might like this more than armada 3...
That looks really good. Almost doesnt look ingame but more like something from the motion picture.
Not in game yet, this is just a quick WIP render from 3DS Max.
You guys ever think of having some starbases in the 'planet" role, that are on the map needing to be captured? And fought over?
So instead of a planet model you would have a huge starbase that you discover and colonize?
Good/Bad idea?
I have to say that these are some of the bast models i have seen from you guys and i have been continually blown away by the quality of your work. I can barely wait to play this mod. As a percentage how for along or both factions, and how far along are other things like planets, stars, unclonizable gravity wells, and random events ect?
were a long way off yet currently the artists are working piece by piece on the models and the coders are filling n the guts of the game, all will be explained soon in an upcoming dev diary :)
