Links to the steam workshop download and our discord can be found in the description! Awakening of the Rebellion is a total overhaul of Forces of Corruption. Inspired by the old RTS Star Wars: Rebellion, AotR brings many features from this game and other titles such as a more in-depth mission system, tech system, and many new units! Immerse yourself in the Galactic Civil War era as the fledgling Rebellion, the oppressive Empire, or the criminal Black Sun pirates. This mod is not for the feint of heart and will test your RTS skills with a completely overhauled AI and difficulty. Versions newer than 2.6 can be found on the steam workshop only (due to issues with the non-steam versions)

Just please have a button to show everything as well. :D
It sucks having to click a button in between every different unit you want to build, especially when you do this on say 10 planets. Tank -extra click, infantry -extra click, heavy walker -extra click, then switch to space and times 10. It gets old real fast.

Please have this. There are a number of mods which don't have the see all button and it drives me absolutley crazy.

This could become problematic if there are more build options on the current planet than the GUI can display.
There are only 26 tiles for displaying available units/buildings so if a planet has more than those, especially when upgrades/research options are ALSO present, they can't all be displayed.
These filter buttons or categories actually give the GUI way more flexibility and since you can pause the game while issuing build orders one or two extra clicks won't matter that much.

The point about being able to go above the 26 tile limit is good. But that could be fixed by having a buildings on/off button probably. You don't need buttons for tanks, walkers, infantry and the like. Seriously, a web store has different search categories because they have thousands of products. If someone need multiple categories for 26 or fewer items i would say that person has a slight problem in a cognitive area. :-D
The extra buttons will clutter up the screen as well. And a good UI is often characterized by being clean and minimalistic, not by being cluttered with buttons nobody really need.
But hey everyone is entitled to a different opinion. :)

I already reworked the Filter system alot. You will be able to toggle filters on and off, so you can decide what you want showing up. You can have Buildings+Upgrades, only Tanks etc. I think with that solution everyone will be happy

I admit I was mainly thinking about the space tab since considering there are several different classes in the same category (i.e.: CR90, CR95, DP-20 etc. for Corvettes or Venator, Victory, Victory II, ISD, ISD II etc. for Star Destroyers) having category buttons for fighters, corvettes, frigates, Star Destroyers, Cruisers and Dreadnoughts/Battleships would be a huge help.

I remember this issue all too well from some mods which have (thankfully) a huge variety of units to choose from, but on the other hand run into problems on some planets because there are too many at once.

Now this is interesting! I'm sure this will help with those who are having trouble seeing units that may be off screen

Huh, and here i thought nomada did something original. Oh well.

A bit off-topic question then. Do you happen to know, if there is an english translation of SI mod?

Wait, Nomada hasn't commented saying they stole his work even though its different!!!! Its a miracle.

Nomada's wasn't original, a working filter system has been around for a while, just not many mods need one.

That or not many mods can implement it.

I don't think there is an English translation for SI which is a shame.

Description

Hey,

today I present you something that was planned for a long time but not implemented until now: Unit Filters!

With the help of these filters the GUI won't be too full to show all units anymore!

Steiner implemented the buttons (not the final version, GUI will change alot more) and I did the coding part. A real dreamteam!

Hope you enjoy!

Best Regards Steiner & MaxiM
