Links to the steam workshop download and our discord can be found in the description! Awakening of the Rebellion is a total overhaul of Forces of Corruption. Inspired by the old RTS Star Wars: Rebellion, AotR brings many features from this game and other titles such as a more in-depth mission system, tech system, and many new units! Immerse yourself in the Galactic Civil War era as the fledgling Rebellion, the oppressive Empire, or the criminal Black Sun pirates. This mod is not for the feint of heart and will test your RTS skills with a completely overhauled AI and difficulty. Versions newer than 2.6 can be found on the steam workshop only (due to issues with the non-steam versions)

The workhorse of the Imperial Fleet, a critically important ship in any imperial players arsenal.

Why does it have so few starfighters? Shouldnt it have at least 6 different TIE squadrons+some shuttles/gunboats?

Lorewise yes but I imagine it would be a pain to have all that stuff in game.

Plus apparently it was rare for an ISD to be carrying a full compliment of star fighters.

It has 3 TIEs + 3 TIEs in reserve, same for the bombers. Also TIE squadrons are 12 and Bombers 8, so they have enough. And in AotR you can upgrade your ISDs to carry better fighters, so Interceptors and TIE-Punishers in this case.

if it had those fighters it would decrease uniqueness of the rebellions fighter capabilities

I always saw the ISD as the "Ship of the Line" For the Imperial Navy. Capable of engaging an entire fleet of more commercially available Warships (The Dreadnought Heavy Cruiser for example) With very high chances of success. The ISD has more advantages than it does disadvantages (As apparent as the disadvantages are). Launched a few months before the end of the Clone Wars as part of Palpatine's "Secret Fleet" Which was unveiled during the closing stages of the Battle of Coruscant. The Imperator class was greenlit for Mass Production during the Declaration of the New Order. It replaced the Venator and Victory Star Destroyers as the main Imperial Ship of the Line and was used to enforce Imperial Order throughout the Galaxy for the next 23 years....

One of the most iconic capital ships in sci-fi. Beautiful and deadly at the same time, if a bit light on the ventral firepower. This first version's also known as the Imperator-class.
