Inspired by the old RTS Star Wars: Rebellion, AotR brings many features from this game and other titles such as a more in-depth mission system, tech system, and many new units! Immerse yourself in the Galactic Civil War era as the fledgling Rebellion, the oppressive Empire, or the criminal Black Sun pirates. This mod is not for the feint of heart and will test your RTS skills with a completely overhauled AI and difficulty. Versions newer than 2.6 can be found on the steam workshop only (due to issues with the non-steam versions)

TIE Scimitar, a strong and deadly Bomber...
I thought the Scimitar didn't use protons at all... just concussion missiles.
He USe both of them. i Like the Ship in combination with Defenders!
I like to think that the Scimitar looks like a missile itself just by it's narrow image, a missile that continues giving out payloads as long as it still lives. :D
Guys, all loadout could be changed in further devolopment and balancing in the beta phase. I just took the actual data from the code. Right now it have torpedoes and missiles, but it can be changed to anti fighter missiles and heavy assault missiles. :)
An interesting and distinctive twist on the classic Tie design. If I were an Imperial agent I would fly a modified version as a courier ship. Remove the warheads, expand the aft section to include basic living quarters and cargo space, and maybe even fit a top-mounted dual laser cannon turret or miniature cloaking device for protection.
Yeah, good choice. U also would get a little Escape Pod.
Is it me or is it becoming hard to keep track of all these TIE's... they do look amazing though

I loved these in 2.6. The unit voice was cool too.
I'm glad that you're not only working on redoing every unit in the mod. But also Mapping, Balancing, Voicing,coding AI, Scaling, documenting, Researching and doing all this in your spare time. I wish more people would pay attention to all the work you guys do on this mod for the love of the game and the franchise. And it annoys me as much as anyone else when people ask for a release date constantly. And I'd like to thank you for all the hard work you've done, and from one lifetime fan to another. " May the force be with you, Always ".
I still can't believe how good looking everything is. This is a dream come true...again. Because 2.6 already has been a dream come true :)
