“Arandir Elenion is my name(1). Lord(2) of Minas Brethil, in the kingdom(3) of Gondor. Just like my father and his father; I’ve ruled these lands for many years now. Together with my youngest brother(4) Feoldrim, I’ve defended the borders of Gondor; But no more. Beause the shadow of Mordor lies over us. My brother fell in battle(5) up north.
It was in the morning near Cair Andros. My brother and I were sent on a quest(6) by Steward Denethor(7) of Gondor. Feoldrim mostly wanted to join the tournament(8) in Cair Andros. He really needed some money; but I convinced him to take up the quest.
The fog(9) lies over us. In the distance you could hear the lightnings of Mordor(10). The morale(11) of my men(12) was crumbling. Before we knew it orcs(13) were everywhere. I tried to gather the men and defend the road we were walking on. I dragged(14) my mace(15) and my brother dragged his two-handed(16) sword. The sky was covered with flaming arrows(17). One by one our men fell. Then, an army(18) of horsemen came and rode down(19) the foes. Their leader was Grânthur(20), the beheader. He killed the cavalry leader. His blood(21) flowed down the dirt, like a small river. A roar(22) from a troll(23) sounded in the distance. Each step it took was like a deep drum from the darkness of Sauron.
And there I saw it… Grânthur, beheading(24) my brother. I went furious, and took up a javelin. I threw(25) it as hard as I could. That was the last day Grânthur beheaded anyone.
The battle was won(26). My men tried to revive(27) as many of the fallen as possible. When we came back to Denethor a great feast(28) was held. My men drank mead(29) & played music(30) as never before.
Revenge, was the only word I could think of. Mordor will pay for this! With catapults and battering rams(31) I will crush(32) the black gate(33) of Mordor. No more, shall the creatures(34) of Mordor threat us.

1. on our server you can get a LOTR related ingame name.
2. in the mod you can get a lot of jobs. if you're an admin you can be given land and be called a Lord of a certain area.
3. we use the faction plugin on the server. players can switch between good and evil in the mod and switch factions on the server. it is also possible to switch race in the mod.
4. we have made a special family plugin for the server. so you can join a family ang get a rank in it.
5. battles will be common on certain areas in Middle Earth. specific mobs command other mobs and battles are created like that.
6. you can get quests by NPC's on the server. normally there is a reward
7. a NPC. NPC's is located special places and can give quests, talk about themself and sell/buy stuff
8. tournaments are small events held by admins of the server. players can join and win both glory and money (ingame money)
9. new weather types will be i nthe mod. fog is one of them and appear at the morning or at dusk.
10. a new biome; Mordor biome, will be in the mod. it will be like you see it in the movies; dark, and always thundering.
11. morale is a way to control your mobs. if you have low morale your men will leave you, and also you can't recruit new ones before you have more morale.
12. yes it's correct you can control mobs and give them orders. with the new fighting system we add it will be more dramtic & cinematic to fight and also it will make it easiere to command mobs.
13. many mobs is in the mod, and more will come. in the end over 100 mobs will be in it. orcs is already part of the mod.
14. weapons are sheated in your belt. this is planned to be part of the mod, and some mobs have 2 weapons.
15. many new sorts of weapons is in the mod.
16. two-handed swords will be in the mod. they will have longer reach. also you will be able to use two weapons at the same time.
17. one of the many new sorts of arrows. this is already in the mod
18. armies are leaded by players or "leader mobs" which is a special sort of mob we add.
19. on horseback you can charge into people and damage them.
20. players can get LOTR related names for both good and evil. a long list is to choose from in the mod.
21. yes it's correct we will add gore to the mod.
22. players will have ability to roar (this is simply entertainment and have no effect).
23. one of the larger creatures which will be in the mod. players can't play as trolls but they can control them in an army.
24. the mod is kinda brutal and yes you can cut off others head.
25. a lot of throwable objects & weapons is in the mod. only the one with skills master this.
26. when you win battles you gain morale and your men would normally roar "victory" or alike.
27. as a player you can revive fallen (not dead) mob and players. it takes time and can be difficult in combat.
28. a lot of feasts will be held on the server. players can arrange their own feasts or wait for the special dates where the staff arrange them.
29. yes a lot of drinks will be in the mod. and also you will be able to become drunk.
30. lots of insturments will be in the mod. there will probably be some bard mobs which plays music, but players can also try to learn playing music.
31. a lot of warmachines and vehicles will be i nthe mod. ships, catapults, baliastas, carts, wagons & boats are soem of it.
32. siege warfare will be more common on the server, but will always be leaded by players.
33. gates will be on the server. the mod will add a "wheel engine" which will be used for windmills & watermills- so they spin around.
34. lots of creatures and animals will be in the mod. some are rideable others are not. different saddles for some races.

woohoo i cant wait
ha ha this short story doesn't even tell everything. we also plan to add ingame jobs and ingame games (like liars dice, card games ect).
also we will improve the whole combat experience :) 3 different moves will be available. and then we will add small details to the battle like armour will make you sink in water ect.
