It's nice to see young kids getting into modding, but you've got a long way to go, so I'd probably hold off on public releases for a while, until you've got it nailed down!

sure everyone has to start somewhere, but they should also at least have enough self-critique to know if their work is ready for sharing or not.

There are a lot of gripes that I have with this mod. I understand that it is still very early in development but, early-development or not, you still want a fun, enjoyable product for consumers. So, AZ. Let's start with NPC placement.
I feel Combine in the Half Life Games are more of a medium range to long range NPC. Putting a bunch of them at CQC is something I don't believe the consumer would enjoy. Maybe a few headcrabs and zombies here and there, your casual zombie jumpscare. But not 20-40. Same thing goes with weapons. Weapon placement is CRUCIAL for an enjoyable mod. This is a given. So if you put a crowbar in a corridor against 4 combine that won't be enjoyable. It'll be a headache. Unless the mod is shitpost and intends to be a headache.

Next thing on the list. Mapping: Texture alignment and Lighting
This is a life-or-death for your mod. Take HDTF for example. It had a decent story but it was poorly mapped out and coordinated. Therefore, being a total FLOP. If you don't make an immersive environment for the player, they won't enjoy the experience. They'll play through it without emotion or expression. Now, if you make an eerie atmosphere with convincing lighting the player would think alot more often before acting. A trend I've noticed with the lighting in AZ is that there's really no light source (Ex: Props, textures, etc) it's just placed there not convincing the player of the atmosphere and not immersing them into the environment. This is something that a game needs to be successful. You need to player to make a real connection with the protagonist. Silent or not. Un-immersing them will not do you a favor.

Really this is all my problems with this mod. I can't wait to play it though.
