Introduction
Augustus Total War is about the Early Roman Empire. Augustus manly focuses on Octavianus Caesar and Marcus Antonius as rules of the Roman Empire. Both start out with a reasonable amount of cities. Octavianus ruler of the Western part of the map from Gaul in to Iberia and Italie. Marcus Antonius ruling over Greece, Asia minor and Ptolemaei kingdom (Egypt).
Description
It has the large mundus magnus map, and features 9AD and 14AD campaigns, as well as a civil war campaign. Some factions have re skinned units, and the Parthia re-skin will very soon be released. It features a legion AoR, and has several new factions including :
-Saxons
-Roman Empire
-Kush
-Mauretania
-Sarmations
-Yuezhi

ive installed the mod before, great mod, second time ive tried to downloaded it i got several errors like viruses, malware and the exe file not working ,that stuff
and when i use the augustus uninstall it does remove my main rtw files as well

Okay, this works on steam.
Just unzip in a vanilla rome total war gold and run from launcher.
Weirdly, if you create a copy of this to desktop it doesn't seem to work, but otherwise fine.
I believe that you should adjust the Destination line of the shortcut to work.
I sent mine to the desktop and it started perfectly. It is likely to be differences for Steam and non-Steam. If it didn't work, I recommend that you make a copy of the application and place it on the desktop.

I think it should be like the non-Steam version. Extract in the Rome Total War folder, it will contain the mod folder called Augustus and the launcher. If it doesn't work, try to contact the developer (I left his link in the other comment). This mod was released in 2010, ten years ago, RTW had not arrived on Steam, so if there is any problem talk to him.
This mod is not my own, I just uploaded it so it won't get lost again.
