SweetFX, postprocessing image improvement and tweaking mod + presets for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call Of Pripyat.
SweetFX by CeeJay.dk is an universal image improvement and tweaking mod, that works with almost any 32bit DirectX 9, 10 or 11 game or application.
This package contains SweetFX configured for Call of Pripyat + 7 custom presets created by me.
Installation
1. copy folders and files from "1.Install" to your main game folder.
2. Install desired preset:
Copy and replace SweetFX_settings.txt file in game dir with desired preset from "2.Cromm Cruac's presets\*" folder.
OR
Open SweetFX_preset.txt in game dir and change the path to desired preset in SweetFX\Presets folder. E.g. #include "SweetFX\Presets\balanced.txt"
In game keys defined as follows:
PrintScreen - screenshot
Pause/Break - reloads the shaders
Insert - toggle effects
Preset screens (left - no effect, right - with SweetFX):
Now this I'd like to see... Ill compare them to Dante's ones! These do look more natural, as Dante's one's look more stylised. Thanks Cromm!
Nice work Cromm
Quite lovely...
Yes, SweetFX is a very good thing, and this setting looks great.
This'd be really nice if my CoP could run it. Every time, with everything I get an ''xrengine.exe has stopped working'' error. I've tried it multiple times with various stuff, it just never ever works. I guess mine doesn't really like this too much.
is this mod compitable with others that are about locations?(not weather)
this works with misery 2.0? is it for high end machines?
Yes it does. It works with every mod.
Silly question, but is this compatible with other S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games, SoC, CS?
Yes
What a difference, SweetFX is excellent! Just using SweetFX configurator with the default setting (SMAA, sharpening and slightly more vibrant colours) makes a big difference to STALKER games. It removes that slightly washed-out look. However, these effects can quickly make the textures look noisy. I'll definitely try this can compare with the default setting.

What settings should I alter to enable SMAA?
SO I followed the instructions on installin this exactly but I can't get it to work at all. The game keeps crashing upon launch. So where exactly do I place the files? I read on a steam forum that some of the files have to be placed in the main directory as well as the bin folder? Is this right? Thank you! P.S. mod looks FANTASTIC!
Crashing on startup for me aswell
hello i keep getting this error before starting the game (the procedure entry point create dxgifactory2 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\WINDOWS\System32\d3d11.dll) game runs but it freezes alot and sometimes crashs
