The Lockheed SR-71 "Blackbird" is an advanced, long-range, Mach 3+ strategic reconnaissance aircraft, which was in service with the U.S. Air Force from 1964 to 1998. It was developed as a black project from the Lockheed A-12 reconnaissance aircraft in the 1960s by the Lockheed Skunk Works. Clarence "Kelly" Johnson was responsible for many of the design's innovative concepts. During reconnaissance missions the SR-71 operated at high speeds and altitudes to allow it to outrace threats. If a surface-to-air missile launch was detected, the standard evasive action was simply to accelerate and outrun the missile.

I'm gonna add Housecolor to the SR-71 Blackbird.
The Blackbird will be a very expansive recon plane for the US and will be built on a special airfield for larger aircrafts. Being one of many "Huge" aircrafts, the SR-71 will work as a spyplane, flying in speeds faster then much smaller interceptor aircrafts or missiles.
My biggest problem now is to figure out how to counter this bad boy.

It will run faster and will provide very big field of view, the inconvenient is that will be difficult to control it due to it speed

Nice plane, I hope you can balance it right:P because if it can reach mach III you can indeed outrun any missile:P wouldn't be fair against stinger sites and rocket-launchers:P

Yeah well, balance and balance, i'm gonna make the aircraft freaking hard to take down.. as it's not really a threat (has no weapons) the only reason you should really care to shoot it down for is to prevent other players to sneak peek into your base :P

well your aircrafts definatly look MUCH better than your ground units - texture wise :P
The S300,S400 should be usefull to bring it down in game offcource since it is very long range

mig 31 foxbat high altitude intercepter should be able to knock that out of the sky. this would provide balance for the russian side against a U2 or SR71.

But, however fast it is, it can't outrun radar. The MiG is fast enough that it can be more easily guided to head off the Blackbird and shoot it down when it's detected.

the SR-71 can technically hit Mach 5...but it would fall apart..if it has a strong airframe and shell so to speak it could withstand that much friction...
