One-man mod. Planed to have over 40 playable factions. Going for realism with units ragin' from as early as late world war 2 to near future units. Mod will be release in the near future, as i plan to release early betas instead of holding on to something that never get released anyway.

The "Gray" area on the hood is house color.

I have an idea for your housecolor. Since there is no blue or red paint painted on military vehicles in real life, you might as well remove the gray areas. Instead, use a circle surrounding the unit in the color for the faction! Just look at how realistic blitz II is without housecolor on the vehicles: Moddb.com

I suggest just removing unrealistic housecolors, and stick to colors such as green, white, grey, etc. so you can have noticeable housecolors without making the units look too cartoony.

The point of having house color is so you can see your can see the diffrence of your own units and the enemy. so it's suppose to be noticeable to some degree.

I entered ModDB for a minute ago and there was just one update, your remastered humvee. Then I refresh it and find this! You are so fast at making superb and awesome looking models!

I was actully thinking of using this technique on my infantry. Might aswell use them on all vehicles ingame too. Aircraft might have housecolor tho.

I think that the grey part for the house colour is ok.
I personally hate the circle around vehicles looks kinda distracting.

It dosen't have to be a circle, i can make a square outline under the vehicle where only 2 of the corners are marked with house color.

I think you should take spacific areas for house color and others for main skin.

I think normal housecolor is fine for vehicles, but for infantry, maybe do something like CWC where there is an image above the infantry's head with house color
