Arx - End Of Sun is a new free and fan made game that is based on the first person dungeon RPG : Arx Fatalis developed by Arkane Studios. In our game world you will play out the events ( with a liberal dose of poetic licence ) that precede the original story of Arx Fatalis. You will no longer require a copy of Doom3 to play Arx - End Of Sun. We are now running on a custom version of the engine code and we use no assets from any commercial titles in our game.

Sorry for the lack of news on the game...
We hope you enjoy this screen shot from one of the maps created by Garth "Zombie" Hendy.
Snow, frost & icicles... could this mean the player is going to the frozen outside world?

Damn! Thought this project was dead! Just finished Arx Fatalis recently and can't wait to sink my teeth back into its game world. Seriously awesome screenshot! Quick question: I know this is using Idtech 4 and it would be too much work to port it to another engine (don't do it Id tech 4 needs love too!!), but did you ever anticipate doing something with the source code of Arx Fatalis?

That Developement Updates part of the page is some great idea. No need to prepare longer updates, just report what was done and that's it.
Wish that other modders (and maybe even moddb.com itself) would use that.
Currently playing Arx Fatalis with Arx Extender, lot of new stuff, surely unbalanced but for that amount of new, craftable stuff...

Oh look an update! Glad to see you guys are still alive and kicking and look at that, you come to the land of the living with a fantastic screenshot, i'm not seeing the doom 3 dark look/feeling, on that screenshot, looks has good has anything recent, fantastic job.
