Arunvaar: Total War is a free to play total conversion mod for Medieval 2: Total War Kingdoms set in a fictional world called Arunvaar. For the past month, I have begun writing a novel set in Arunvaar entitled The Way of the Clans which I will upload somewhere on the internet for free reading when it is done.
The once great Kingdom of the Vanguard split when King Viktor the Just died. His sons Axel, Erik and Melker fought over the throne in a vicious war of sucsession that lasted ten years with no resault and the deaths of many innocent people. Thirty years on and things aren't much better. Without any forms of order and peacekeeping by a higher reign, rival factions fight over disputed territories and resources.
It is time for a warlord to defeat his foes and reform the once great kingdom, the only question is who will you lead to victory? Choose from 10 different factions and lead them to glory or die trying!
The Principality of Fornhiem
A powerful faction relying on well organised infantry and cavalry units
The House of North Whitehaven
The House of North Whitehaven can recruit good infantry units
The House of South Whitehaven
The House of South Whitehaven can recruit good infantry units
The Republic of Redwood
A small faction with superb woodsmen and cheap militia units. Lacks a large unit roster and heavy units
The Principality of Graymarsh Moor
Its low lying, marshy terrain make it hard to approach with large armies. Can field great light infantry
The Order of Falkenreath
Can recruit excellent well organised heavy units but lacks lighter and faster units.
The Republic of Urgaal-Rhan
A powerful republic that fields great infantry units but lacks sword welding troops
The Nomads of the North
Relys on light units, horse archers and cavalry. Lacks professionaly organised and equipped heavy armoured units
The Rhaanavern Empire
The desertmen of the Rhaanavern Empire have come along way to conquer the currently weak lands of Vanguard. An recruit good infantry and cavalry. Can launch Hordes, acts like M2TW Jihad and requires Southern Culture.
The Kingdom of Gordaivia
A small yet strong Kingdom from the North of the land. Can field a good all-round mix of heavy units, cavalry, spearman and archers. Can also recruit gunpowder units later on in the campagain
Emergant/Other Factions
The Kingdom of Vanguard (Reinstated)
Acts like the Kalmar Union script. Requires any of the factions that have a desendencey from the original Kingdom of Vanguard (Fornhiem, South & North Whitehaven). Requires the original regions that were owned by Vanguard. Victory condition for Fornhiem to form the original Kingdom.
Royal Court
Acts like the Papal States in M2TW. The last attempt to keep order in Arunvaar, situated in the former capital of Vanguard, the Royal Court can call Conquests that act like Crusades. Requires the culture of men.
Historical Battles/Scenario Battles:
Battle of Rye's Landing - Principality of Fornhiem vs Rhaanavern Empire
Siege of Winterrun - Principality of Fornhiem vs House of North Whitehaven
Battle of Baarskal Pass - Kingdom of Gordaivia vs Nomads of the North
Battle of Norklaand Steppe - Kingdom of Gordaivia vs Nomads of the North
Battle of Horadlund - House of Melker vs House of Erik (Prologue battle similar to Hastings in M2TW)

Hey, why the downvote, it was just a request?
The Order of Falkenreath comes from a skyrim city Falkenreath?
Oh yeah never thought of that :/
Isn't it Falkreath in Skyrim though? Not Falkenreath?
I like the premise of this. So I'm going to track. Wish I could help out but I lack any modding experience :(
