Laser Defence Cannon and Nuke Silo no longer stealthed.
This is because, well... they just do not unstealth
whilst attacking, which is pretty stupid really. I
didn’t even notice this until I configured the AI to
use them and wondered why I couldn’t find the things
while they were destroying my hackers.
Quad Cannon weapon fixed. For some odd reason it was
switching to its aircraft weapon, even though it is
not supposed to be able to attack ground units.
Like with the Quad Cannon, the Mini Gunner has also
had its ground and air weapons merged into one. This
means that the range for attacking aircraft has been
significantly decreased. No matter, I always felt it
was a bit weird how they could hit a moving aircraft
at almost three times the distance of a building. It
becomes even more relevant when they are garrisoned
because they gain an extra 33% range. With this in
mind, I have set the range to 133 which means that
if they are garrisoned then they can reach rocket
guys, whose range is 175.
Tough armour structure fixed in respect of particle
beams. No idea why it changed, I don’t remember doing
anything but uplinks are no longer destroying a CC in
one go. I wonder if this was code based on the original
version of Zero Hour, not 1.4. I know I couldn’t update
my game at one point for some obscure reason or another.
Paradrop and Tankdrop fixed.
Land Rover and Bedford textures fixed.
Ranger now buildable from the Command Center.
Combat Bike has been moved to the Supply Center.
Also comes with a Ranger by default and costs 300.
Strategy Center secondary weapon firing fixed.
Also no longer paralysed by Battle Plans switch.
Laser Defence secondary weapon fixed and it now
requires each tech centre to be built only once.
Rebels faction Quad Turret using Armageddon version.
The “Attack Move” button can now target a specified
object. This allows a unit to chase an enemy while
stopping to attack things along the way. It can also
be used to move towards a friendly although it will
obviously not attack it. This may be removed without
notice in future updates, due to a potential problem
which I shall not disclose.
Some things now require specific ranks to obtain...
