After 1 month of break, because of my studies abroad, i am happy to tell you development resumes.
Focus will be done on CSAT and AAF units now that buildings of theses factions are done.
After this focus, attention will be on IDAP factions, that will be in USA Side (it will replace USA Superpower general)
After factions development, the work will begin to start on maps and scenario, if you want to try some units already, you can download the mod at its latest version and play, or download the HQ of Foxhound Strike Force (in addons section). You will be able to, thanks to this HQ map, to take a look through Worldbuilder to see what are the names of buildings (for exemple civilians ones), to help you to make your own maps.

that is actually a quote from one of my platoonmates in arma in a zeus operation I played in while we were under bombardment and under heavy attack by a full CSAT armored battalion. We had were under orders to hold for reinforcements and we were defending a...**** what was it...oh YEAH, a ship yard with a nuclear sub fully loaded with nukes. but yeah those were his last words before he was hit by a canister shell to the chest.

my good man, this was a very quick delivery. I applaud your efforts. In regards however to naval combat. will this be a thing? I see that you have included a destroyer in the Moddb images. If so, awesome and might a make a suggestion. create a to-scale map that would support it or possibly a combined arms map that would at least allow it to make an appearance. I myself cant offer any modding expertise, only good ideas.
Thank you for your comment Shadslayr ;) yeah i wanted to make a version of this mod to be downloadable fast, because i was always tired of mod where you must wait 15325 years before try a piece of it. I included the destroyer yesterday, i have to make some test because turrets are bugging a little, beside this all of the stuff you see can be find in the editor (CIVILIAN > Buildings or Vehicles for UH80 stopped on ground) or be built ingame. About map i will work soon on this, i want in first time to recreate Stratis :P
Alot of mods have attempted it in the past. Can't wait to see what you do with it. Since you're going for a TRULY modern approach, i guess we can expect more cruise missile focused ships than gun focused ships? ALSO for urban combat. Can infantry be shot out of buildings? And for tanks and armored vehicles in general...is armor taken into account where damage is considered. I wouldn't expect a single rifleman to take out an apc or an MBT with his trusty-dusty AT-4, and even then, is directional armor considered? Sry for the long comment just some things from arma that I'm thinking about.
I have to check all of this because i learn modding day after day, i will probably look at that when i will attack the config file part, a lot of things are possible and i need to see everything before, but i will mainly take a look about thèses features when i will be done with all factions ;)
