A.R.E.A. is a standalone project based on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. trilogy. The project affects all aspects of the game with no exceptions, improving their quality and diversity. The main goal was to create a more realistic Exclusion Zone, where each trip will be a unique and rough experience.
More customization for light sources is always good.
I just hope there's a chance A.R.E.A. will get proper pockets.
What kind of pockets ?
Well, like each suit having a set of pockets (with volume limits ofc) instead "of a shared inventory" and each pocket can be assigned a hotkey. So you can drop loaded mags into one pocket, hotkey it and then hotshare it mid-fight instead of a slot based stuff A.R.E.A. intended to have (slot based is just restrictive as **** while being illogical af).
This way it is much easier to control both inventory and upgrades for suits (or adding extra pockets as an addon to that) but nobody ever did that properly as far as I know (main word - properly).
Like, pressing the hotkey to open inventory puts you into the "pocket space" and you can see only the hotkey item for corresponding pocket. To further move items into pockets you have to navigate them (open only pockets that you need right now so as to not clutter the interface).
Also, adding an item buffer would be nice for trading or inventory organizing so there wont be need to drop **** onto ground (but any item in there will just restrict movement gait to walking, so you have to put **** into pockets/backpack or just dropping it instead of SUCCing everything and hoping for the best).
