Inspired by the Grotesque helmets of yore, eh? I love historical references in fantasy, especially the weird ones.
For sure. Its actually adapted off a photogrammetry scan of a real historical helmet via The Royal Armory. Check them out on Sketchfab. The breastplate is also another adapted scanned historical piece from the Cleveland Museum of Art.
