One - to be fair, the use of 'finally' in your sentence can hardly be seen as anything but impatience on your part in context, with all due respect. So while Wrathgod34's comment went a bit far, it did not come from the void, nor did my comment. Whether you meant it or not, 'finally' = it's about time/should have been done earlier.

Two - drop the F word. There's no place for such hostility in this community.

Three - 'They' attacked you? Overgeneralizing much? I explained, calmly and politely, why I thought your 'finally' was going overboard. Granted, WG's 'massive ingrate' comment was going a bit far, but if you pay attention even a little, you'll notice that 'they' did not attack you. And I won't say what calling 'them' animals make you sound like, to quote WG.

By the way, if you say something that makes several other people react with disappointment, calling them animals won't especially endear them to you. Just so you know.

Yes, with "animals" I got excited. But thinking that I'm "ungrateful" and "impatient" you are clearly mistaken. I was just glad to update. I did not want to offend the author so that "so long there are no updates." I hope we understand each other, I do not want conflicts.

Allow me to clarify, perhaps "ingrate was a bit strong to use. That being said the comment came off as very entitled especially considering that no one owed him anything. Also calling me animal and cursing at me is just... A little intense. Perhaps I shouldn't have engaged and for that I apologise

It's okay. I think people are simply over-passionate about this project, which makes people react a bit too intensely from all ends of the spectrum. That being said, me no like conflict either, so let's call it a day and get on with it. :P
