Realms brings the civilization count up to 42, an auspicious number

Version 1.90 has been released. It comes with a new civilization, the Tamils. They lack several key techs that leave most of their army quite fragile, despite their good offensive capabilities, but can rely on bulky elephants to absorb damage.


1.90 also marks the return of Extended Trigger Patch and WAIFor's Trigger & Extension Patch, enabling a large array of new trigger effects in addition to Userpatch 1.5.

Balance for existing teams was also a major focus of this release. Mandinkas see the most fundamental changes, with their villagers now providing a partial refund on death and their team bonus changed to reveal the location of gold mines.

And of course, several new content additions and bug fixes also made their way in.

Can you please rename Indians to Hindustanis(natives of Gangetic and Indus Plains i.e North India) and Tamils to Dakhinis(Natives of Deccan Peninsula i.e South India). Also do you plan of Include East Indians(Gajapatis) as well? It will complete the Indian Sub continent.
Also do the Jorgito Units you use contain have decay graphics?

Renaming the Indian civs is possible. I'm not yet sure what civs will take up the last 2 slots, but I haven't ruled out another Indian group.

Jorgito's units do not have decay graphics beyond the first frame.

I know it's difficult but can you add Tamil Language as well. Google translate can help in it.
Is the civilization slot limited? Would really love to see Indians completed in this mod by adding one more region i.e East India(Bengalis, Kalingas/Gajapatis, Ahoms etc). It will make it favorite among all people from South Asia.
Can you not create decay graphics for the units. If not then why don't you make all units with non decaying graphics. At least this can make game look more standardized.
Also can you please increase the collision radius of Varu, North Indians can have Taj Mahal as their wonder while South retains the present wonder, East can also use the some Hindu temple as wonder.
Why don't you include Barbarian AI in this mod.

The diffculty with adding languages is more finding someone who speaks the language properly and has a good microphone setup than figuring out what to say. Trying to speak Tamil myself would probably just result in butchered pronunciations and bad grammar. And I can't do a whole set myself anyway, as that involves four different voices, one of which is a woman.

Technical issues (read: crash when using) start appearing after going beyond 44 civs, so there are only 2 more that can be added to Realms. I'll keep Eastern India in mind during my research.

I'll be reconsidering my options about decay graphics

I don't much like the Taj Mahal for an AoK wonder (too late), but more Wonders is always something I'm on the lookout for.

AI scripting is pretty involved, and I'm not very good at it. Principality and the default AI were a lot simpler to modify properly. Barbarian and Realms are both moving targets as well, which compounds the difficulty of doing so. Maybe someday, though.
