Mini-mod that will allow you to rotate your buildings when being built ingame.
Age of Empires Building Rotation
Building Rotating for Wars of Liberty, also compatible for Vanilla Age of Empires 3. This mini-mod will allow you to freely rotate any building being built. Now you can organize your Empire the way you want it to be
This mini-mod doesn't require you to replace any vanilla files (which commonly are the game.con, gamex.con, and gamey.con), but using the 'user.con' it wont require you to replace any vanilla files. Also meaning that if you dont want the mini-mod installed or something goes wrong, all you have to do is remove the user.con file
ESO, LAN and online* compatible
This is compatible for online gameplay, even if your opponent(s) does not have the mini-mod it will NOT cause any CRC Mismatches, in fact your opponent(s) will be able to see your rotated buildings.
Installation:
1)Extract the user.con file into "startup" folder where Wars of liberty (or AoE3) is installed
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Age Of Empires 3\Wars of Liberty\Startup
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Age Of Empires 3\bin\Startup
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires III\Startup etc.
2) Start the game normally
Uninstall?
Just remove the user.con file where you placed it in the install.
How to use it
To use this mod, you must have a mouse scroll button, or equivalent. When placing a building, simply move the mouse scroll button and the building will rotate, it will build like usual but now with the rotation that you set it to have.
Have fun!
*online meaning if you use any other network software to play online with other people (gameranger, tunngle, etc.)
Thanks, downloading!
