Plot

You are moving-in to an old house that is falling apart. You plan to repair the home with your left over money. You enter the house and lay down on a sofa in the living room. You wake up in a dark room with a bed and a door. Past this door is an odd room with a locked door, a blocked-off ventilation shaft, and a staircase leading somewhere. Suddenly, you wake up across the street in a smaller house. You look up and see what used to be your house. There are ladders protected by metal gates, multiple extensions to the house including a crate like structure, a large room being held up by flimsy stilts with a heavy windmill plus a rooftop garden, and the house has been repaired to a livable condition! Is that screaming coming from the basement?
