You are Cadahgan Browning; a messenger assigned to a small village 3 miles north-east of a large settlement on the west coast of Britain.
You travel there with the package in hand and then up the road to the village.
When you get there you can't help but notice a large rural castle about 2 or so miles from the village, you check your map and you realise what it is.
Your Father raised you in a castle just like that; You remembered the location of it clear as day.
Your Father passed away about 7 years ago from unknown causes.
A plague known as the Decline-All has been a pandemic all over London and the southern parts of England for the past 9 Years, although many have attempted a cure, your Father had also tried as well, with all of his resources and wealth, surely such a thing would have been an easy feat.
With the Decline-All settling all over the country, you decide to take a chance and take a look inside the Castle, if anyone has the cure It's your Father, and maybe his research or the cure it's self is intact.
You decide to take a chance and go to take a look, if there's any chance a cure exists, you're going to find it.

3/10 Interesting so far, but a lot of empty pointless rooms. That pit area was pretty cool though, looking forward to the final product.

Played the demo ! Your maps are very detailed and I guess the level design is good as well, but I don't really know about how your maps were built because I couldn't see **** x)
I don't know how you feel about it, maybe it's intentional, but I believe there's a bit too much fog. Yes it DOES make the game "scarier", but... Well I really can't see with FogAreas that big.

Notes seem well-written, scripted door events were nice. I like the plants in the first level, they really add to the atmosphere.

Overall, I like this and I can see there's a lot of work in it, but the maps were confusing and too foggy, so I felt like roaming pointlessly.

The Lantern and other light sources eliminate most of the fog, so you'll be able to see better.
My fault, i should have put a Lantern in the Demo :/

It's lost it's momentum a bit. Mainly due to Procrastination, my inability to do stuff, technical problems. Not really dead, just in some kind of Custom-Story Coma.
I'm just kind of awful at things, really :c

I could always add new Sound, Music, Level screens, etc to this. Development is still taking place.

Good I am really looking forward to it. Also I would like to say that the fog idea was awesome and that you shouldn't change it despite what some people may say. And you should make monster encounters much harder. I didn't go through the whole demo but I did encounter 2-3 monsters and they were kind of too easy. Give it some good chases.

Well I have an idea about monsters but it's not gonna be easy. You know the game named Outlast right? I would like to see a chase like the one where the two brothers hunt you down. What I mean is a chase that lasts for like 2-3minutes, in which for example you jump somewhere that the monster can't go but when you seem to have got away, the monster takes another root around which you couldn't since some door was locked or something. Then you must block doors behind you, things like that. If anyone achieves something like that in a custom story, that would such a great, unique and memorable moment of 3 minutes where your adrenaline is gonna explode. I ain't got any advices for level design, since you seem to handle it more than just good.

I guess the only thing limiting me here is the game's AI, which i haven't really experimented with. I could definitely try something like this as I do know of the chase sequence you mentioned.
