This mod attempts to reflect the reality of 13th century Europe. The starting point of the journey is year 1257 AD and attempts to be as historically accurate as possible. From this point on the player and NPC lords shape this land and fight for supremacy and control of the continent.

Post news Report RSS Anno Domini 1.13 released!

The new version of Anno Domini 1257 has been released!

Posted by on

A new and final (this time really final) version of the mod has been released. The new version mainly contains various fixes: for scenes, script errors and so on. In other words, some of the last holes was filled.

This version should also be compatible with 1.11 version of the mod. However this is untested, so use at your own risk. It is generally recommended to start a new game with every new version of the mod.

This is the last version of the mod with no plans to continue development anymore. Thank you all for your support and contributions over these years!

Wow
I love your mod and I think it is the best historical mod.
By the way, is it okay to uploading and share this in a Chinese M&B center and store? Becuse the downloading speed from moddb is really slow in China. Of cause I will show the copyright, original link, and send you the link.

I have a problem with the fonts. The letter capital r (R) is used where the letter capital n (N) should be used. Any fix?

PLEASE HELP! Guys I've downloaded this amazing mod. I kinda've only purchased the game via steam on mac just to play this mod. I don't even know how I managed to get it work, but it works. Except that my weekly budget says I gotta pay 602157658275873286 denars per week when I don't even have any troops. Is there a way to fix this bug?

I'm running A.D. 1257 on Linux Mint 18 right now without Wine. This is possible because I'm using the SteamOS version of Native Warband (with this mod simply dropped in its modules folder). No emulation required.

If you own the Steam version of Warband, and are running Linux, you can download and run it in the standard way via the Linux-specific Steam client. After initially confronting some stability issues (common ones that even many Windows users were having), it now runs flawlessly. My guess is that this is your best option; I think it unlikely that you'll get the Windows version running flawless in Linux using Wine.

It's been 3years and 4 days since this last update. Such an epic mod that'll give you endless playtime! I'm about to hit it again on a new character.

I would like to report a bug: enjoyed the mod until the moment me and my faction attacked MedvÄ—galis castle. Some of the defending troops were bugged out, standing in one place, not moving whatsoever. Also when new enemy reinforcement group arrived, some of the new troops were bugged out as well. They were simply just inactive and not doing anything. Also, the whole battle was too easy because only like 1 out of 7 enemies would turn around and concentrate on me every time I flanked them from behind. I was able to just simply stand in one place and keep on swinging my sword and killing them all from behind without any resistance. That's a major bug in the game and it is unplayable, to be honest.

Anyone else had similar problem?
