This story feels very unfinished to me. The level design is bland, unintresting and have alot of texture glitches and other errors, such as colliding grass in the second book on chapter two + extrem darkness wich made it almost impossible to find the right way and overused key quests.
The voice acting is most likely the worst I've heard. The volume is really low, at least during the intro, I can barley understand a word (thank god you added texts to it) and the flashback voice acting was just annoying to me.
The mansion is way too bright and it annoys me that you didn't even bother to change a single detail in book two. Everything is the same. Tinderboxes, keys, everything located at the exact same spot as in book one and the boat in book two felt very bland and made in a rush.
What I did like is your creativity and your attempt to create a decently good voice acting. You have a story wich is not a cliche to the 75% of the stories out there (you are trapped and must get out) and you have potential to create this into something good. But it's nothing I recommend in it's current state.
Good start! Don't give up on it! But please don't rush with it. Take your time to create something beutiful, not rookie maps
EDIT: Some more details added and a few bugs fixed in the latest patch, although no huge changes. But 4/10 right now wich is better.
