I have a pirate version and it works. To make it work, follow these steps.
1. Find your Game File
2. Go to Redist/Sounds/Enemy/grunt
3. Make a folder. (If you dont want anymore this mod)
3. Make a folder, Copy all the sounds from the grunt folder, and place it in your new folder.
4. Grab all the sounds from the file you downloaded and place it in the grunt folder.
Enjoy!
If you have the DLC problem, try to find it in youtube.

maybe justine DLC for Amnesia is required to play the game.I don't have Justine and the game doesn't really works so I guess that te problem...
No, the problem is that you are a pirate. Not having a DLC doesn't mean the game isn't working. Technically, custom storys are also DLCs, but the game works fine without them as well.
Everyone that bought the game have Justine, so go ahead and buy it and I'm sure your problem will be solved.
