The day has finally come.
I can't believe we're finally here. 12-ish years later and I now have something to show the world. It's been a difficult yet rewarding journey to finish this mod.
Things will likely be updated over the next little bit, dealing with whatever bugs pop up and such.

Does the demo have an end or does it just stop? I say this because I've gotten as far as unlocking a room called the "Widow's Watch" and now there's nothing else. I cannot even get back to the main hall.
But besides that, I'm very impressed with what I've seen so far. Great voice acting and a huge mansion to explore with lots of really detailed rooms. I cannot wait for the full release and be able to hear the whole story.
How many rods do you currently have in your inventory? Make sure you explore the bedrooms carefully. :D I'm so happy to hear that you're enjoying it!

You will need a total of three. Go into each bedroom and try to think if you were to hide a rod in there, where would you hide it, and I guarantee you will find them. ;D

amazing! a really enjoyable demo with minor scares but still great potential and interesting story, professional voice-acting :) i was waiting for a long time for this actually .my suggestions, i found the third map a bit "dead" and empty comparing to the first one. i suggest bringing some atmosphere from the first map to the others, since that one was truly astonishing! also, i rarely get any lag in amnesia maps, but that first map produced kinda much, i suggest preloading things (in script), delete some unnecessary decals, bilboards, particles to increase performance for a bit older computers (not mentioning that SOMA runs on maximum settings on my machine). if you proceed this way this story can be one of the most interesting ones in a long time, keep up the good work, a solid 8,5/10 so far ^^

As for your points, I very much agree. One of my biggest hindrances has been filling in with those details. And that lag, yeah, it happens on my end, and I've had a heck of a time trying to get it to go away, but I shall most definitely work to get that out well before the full release.

I'm not finished with the demo yet but I have played enough of it to have an opinion: This is easily one of the best Amnesia mods I've played in a looooong time! It's actually quite chilling, and after having played so many Amnesia games (and horror games in general), it's sometimes difficult for me to get creeped out during a game. But this mod is definitely working its magic. I hope you finish this someday because I think you've got a real winner!
