The day has finally come.
I can't believe we're finally here. 12-ish years later and I now have something to show the world. It's been a difficult yet rewarding journey to finish this mod.
Things will likely be updated over the next little bit, dealing with whatever bugs pop up and such.

There are alot of rushed games out there from AAA companies which sucked way too much. Taking such a long time is okay imo then.
Thank you, Richy! Your understanding means a lot. When it comes to my work, I always have been a perfectionist, and in this case, it's being totally amplified.
It actually took me a couple of reworks and several years to get that first map exactly how I wanted it, that's how crazy it can get.
But I don't want you to wait another five years, so I am trying to keep it as controlled and efficient as possible.
I will wait for this until it comes out no matter how long it'll take. :3

I see a couple comments asking about the full release. I posted an update a little while ago explaining that there would, unfortunately, be delay with Helena's release. I know it kind of got buried, so it was probably easy to miss.
Due to financial business, I had to move, which took up the time I was hoping to dedicate to finishing this mod and my helpers were also temporarily pulled away for their own personal things.
That being said, Helena is NOT cancelled, just delayed about a month or two. I'm still hard at work refining the script and adding in all sorts of awesomeness. I'm even working on it right now as I type this (I just like to periodically check up on the ModDB page a couple times a day).
No one is more disappointed about this delay than I. This is a project I've been working on since December of 2012 and it would be marvelous to wrap it up to pursue other work. However, I don't want to just toss it out into the world. I care about this and respect your patience too much to just publish something half-assed. It's not what anyone deserves, most of all Helena.
I thank you all for your patience, and I hope to have a more definitive release date for you coming up.
Extreme level of frustration... It devours me... Wish you luck and patience and for others, who awaits your masterpiece as well...

is ther going to be new monsters in it? i hope so i dont want to have these old same monsters from the amnseia dark decent "bleh!!" :b and please dont add tthose monsters from amnesia machine for pigs they where not scary so dont add them!!!! new monsters new i say new!!! XD
Unfortunately, I do not have the tech savvy for new monsters nor do I currently have enough funds to pay for them, so it will be the original Amnesia monsters (no pigs/wretches from AMFP).
However, I will be trying to "play around" with the original monsters, so we'll see how that all turns out.
There are actually monsters for free use (I think).
One of them is the witch which I really find is a nice scary monster. There's also modified versions of the penumbra monster... but the original monster is lovely too tbh. :3
where did you find those monster wich wher for free? is there a link to where u can boy monster wich can be used for amnesia the dark decent ?
I've come across them before and had considered using maybe one or two, but ultimately, I didn't find any that really sat well with me for this particular story, and I had already written around the originals.
Do what you think is right for the cs. It's your creation.
