Here is the update I really didn't want to give (and hence why it has taken me a while to get to it): there will be a delay on Helena's release.
- I'm moving, which is taking up a lot of my time as I not only have to pack but also sort through everything that I own to condense down on stuff.
- I have taken on a LOT of voice over work. For those of you who don't know, my primary work is voice acting, and lately I've seem to become in demand and as such I'm working on lot more on that lately (a few of which are some really big projects, and moving has forced me a little behind on those).
- My two friends who have been helping me with a lot of the big stuff for Helena are also now busy: one is working on finished school exams and the other busy with bigger projects.
None of this means however that Helena is going away for good. I am now just shooting for an August release as opposed to a June/July release.
In the meantime, I'm still working on refining the script for the game: deciding on scenes to be added or trimmed, how best to convey the story, etc.
I do apologize for the delay, as I had greatly hoped it wouldn't happen, but that's just not my luck, I'm afraid.
Anywho, thank you so much for your patience. It is much appreciated.

Just attaching a comment to this instead of writing a new post. Work is still underway for Helena. However though, I unfortunately underestimated the amount of work still left and I've been having issues that have been taking my work time away from me to finish my end of Helena.
So from here on out, I'll only post when a major section of Helena is completed, so coming up that will probably be when all the rest of the mapping is finished and I start working on implementing voice over.
There will be no posted release until we are closer to the beta-testing phase.
I do apologize for this crazy mess of a release. I had promised myself when this began to not put a release date on it, as my curse is to pretty much never be on time with anything, and that is precisely what has happened. I've never been very good at gaging how long this will take to complete.
So I understand if you are unhappy or impatient--it's been YEARS, I'd be more surprised if you weren't impatient! But know that this isn't to frustrate anyone. I want to make sure this is of the best quality it could possibly be.
