Here's the latest patch for my Madly Enhanced mod for American McGee's Alice. Just drop these pak files into the Alice base folder and overwrite the specified pak files. You do not need any of the previous patches for this patch to work.

How about some screenshot comparison of the old and new HD textures?
Yes there are HD textures now. I'll get some screenshots comparing them.
Well, its in hd but stay twinkle the screen, the energy bar gone and the other bar it's empty in the middle of the screen.

Don't know if someone ever reads this, but I've got a question:
I downloaded the mod and have now three pk3 files.
Those names are always "z_madlyenhanced_" at the beginning and followed by this without a space:
1: 2.pk3
2: 3.pk3 and
3: 4.pke3
BUT inside of my .../EA Games/American McGee's Alice/Base there are following:
cgamex86.dll
fgamex86.dll
pak0.pk3
pak1_large.pk3
pak2.pk3
pak3.pk3
pak4_german.pk3
What files have to be deleted/overwritten or what do I have to name the modfiles for it to work. As you can read, I have the German version of the game.
I tried some variants but ended up with no reaction after the first screen when starting the game.
Please any suggestions?

Just dump all of the files from the 1.0 zip file into your base folder and overwrite whatever it asks you about. Then dump the 1.7 zip file into the base folder and overwrite whatever it asks you about. That's it.
Would it be possible to extract the mod, which causes weapons to not use so much ammo?? I really need that.

r_primitives 2
Alice is a Quake 3 engine based game. All games based on Q3 engine (ID TECH3), like "American MCgees Alice" or "Return to castle Woflentein" from some kind of reason have "r_primitives" set to 1, which causes major lag and slowdown.
After downloading, installing, reinstalling the game, searching everywhere but failed YOU, with your tiny comment, helped me out.

- Does the MOD Support Cheats? Alice Wiki says nothing, but other mods Support. So i wonder if your mod also Supports cheats.
I have to say i bought Alice HD and textures with your mod are fine. Problems:
no way to cheat? Would be Great to bring up the console. Or another way.
- I want to Play Alcie in GErman. I start Alice 2 (which has german language selected by me), then Alice also starts in german. But this is ridiccolous. I have to start Alice 2 to Play 1. So i start Alice 1 with command promt. he Complete Collection\Game\Alice1\bin\alice.exe" INT RunningFromAlice2 set r_fullscreen 1
Probleme here is that it with this method starts it in English. In the game is no way to Change language. I wonder if there is a way to start it in German. Command? Great would be a method to choose language eitehr command Parameter or in-Game. Would be great to get it start up in german without starting Alice 2.
I also want to mention the textures kook very nice and the game Looks much newer with your mod installed.

can you use the "Madly Enhanced" mod with Omri's mod or do you have to choose one or the other I was just curious, don't want to mess anything up. thanx
Is there a way to add these features to Omri's mod (assuming they're not already added and I didn't notice);
*Reworked Gibbing System ( Gibs now stay almost forever )
*Almost all mapobjects cast shadows
*Alice's weapons have been rebalanced to make them more devastating and not use as much magic
*Cinematics are now all in fullscreen
This update is very similar to my work for RTCW, I love all the new things, I will play the game very soon, thanks again.
P.S. if next time I will find some ideas to improve your work I will tell you.
Does this work with Steam? I have the first game modded into my copy of Madness Returns and since nothing is happening when I put these files into the Base file of Alice1, I can assume it doesn't work. Instructions unclear!
