It must be a perverse game then.
I fail to see how it is perverse for women to run around scantily clad, especially in ancient days, when men did (do) it as well... seems a bit sexist to me to suggest that it is not acceptable. Kudos, I say, to a game (mod) that remains true to realism, and also shows that women were not such helpless things like they show on television.
but honestly, would ye want them to fight alongside ye in combat in your own infantry, in today's day and age?
Just sayin', I've yet to meet a male soldier who had anything positive to say about prospect of women being in combat, let alone in the service.
at least in Ft Lewis, they're all like "Ooh, you can't depend on them to physically lift your wounded out of a firefight" or on subject of peer sexual assault "Ooh, women are nothin but trouble, they should just stay out"
In today's day in age? Hellz no. In fact, I would like to see women put out for good. It's not that I hate them or think they are not capable of doing the job, it is as simple as they just don't belong - not in this country's military anyway. They are a liability, and most men find it difficult to focus on the mission when they are worried about their female comrades - I know I do. I can't focus when I am constantly thinking how bad it would be if a female in my unit were to get captured. I mean, getting captured sucks all around no matter your sex, but a rusty machete is somewhat less a burden to face than a few hours of rape, and THEN the machete. Not only that, they distract/can distract men just by being what they are. Men can't help it - we are creatures that are aroused by sight - it's evolution and no one can change it, so females that bitch about that being our fault can ponder that fact for a while. However, in different cultures, especially amazonian cultures, things were/are VERY different. As far as the game goes, I like it, it's very realistic for the time period. In reality and/or current day combat? Hell no.
We can turn table around and state that women are better in some training exercise than men. Once properly trained, they are usually better sharpshooters than men. Given equal swimming skill, they will survive a lot longer than men if adrift at sea or in water. The same goes for cold exposure as well.
Carrying the wounded comrade safely out of a fight is something many men can not handle either.

It basically states that fabrics were hand spun in those days and therefore very time consuming as well as expensive to produce. Since clothing is therefore an expensive proposition, units of the ancient armies, with very few exceptions, rarely were issued any uniform. So the thesis stated that a well trained combat unit will not wear their personal clothing out of the concern that it would interfere with their combat drill. So it is entirely conceivable for units to be given order to remove their clothing and donning only their battle gear to improve their odds of battlefield survival.
Also want to add that nudity does not equate to perversion. Especially in antiquity, most athletes compete or practice completely nude.
Men scientiffically usualy have stronger bodies but womens brains are wired different and are usualy smarter also they have diferent wired eyes so can see better

We have a great deal of papers from anthropology to show women were part of combat troops in ancient days.
The small pony as war mount imposed some restriction on cavalry for one, and many other reasons women were actually more adept at combat in antiquity.
