Development on aMaZe has stopped due to the fact that i have lost the data on my hardrive and I am now having trouble running the Source SDK under my new Vista installation. aMaZe
aMaZe is a singleplayer 3D maze/puzzle total conversion for Half-Life 2. Combines both genres of puzzle and maze together making a fun yet challenging what requires no skill but just logic.
Features
It will feature multiple stages spanning different levels and themes.The stages start locked and must be completed at least once in succession to unlock the next stage. Not all will be your traditional linear one floor maze where you start in one cornor and the exit is at the other, some aMaZe levels will contain puzzles what will challange you and make you think and not every level will look like a maze, it could be a series of rooms with locked doors and buttons. It will contain completely new content and a "demo" version is slated for release around christmas time this year.
Demo Content:
3 Stages (Retro,Classic and Pastel) each will feature between 3 - 5 levels
Retro - Will feature levels designed around old 3D maze games with blocky architecture and basic brick like textures.
Classic - Will feature traditional hedgemaze type architecture with appropriate textures.
Pastel - Will feature non-traditional, quirky mazes with bright pastel textures and an abstract feel.

Will do! The textures are only temporary and i update them over time. The screens are from the "Retro" set of mazes what are ment to look like an old basic 3d maze game.
you should make it look a little more appealing on the eye, it looks like a hl1 mod right now :P
Thanks for the feedback :D Ive always been thinking of doing that as it it easy to later on drop in a few custom npc's and a few scripted sequences to make it a FPS aswell, but at the moment its just mazes and puzzles.
- Note- Like what it says on the website development on aMaZe is gonna slow down temporarily so that i can continue my other project but when im done ill have some new models and media to show.
You should put enemies and stuff inside the maze. :P
