Hello Alpha Project Community!
Yes, its finaly time to get 0.31 out to you, it was a long ride and i wont lie to you, it was a hard one. We stumbled over lots of problems and bugs we couldnt redeem entirely however this version is running now smooth unlike it was the case with the 0.3 beta release.
The decision for this to be the final version of our mod wasnt done in one day i can gurantee you it took us a long time and wasnt easy, but as someone once already said, "everything that has an beginning has an end"
With this i want to thank everyone involved in this project all these years and thank all those who contributed their work to our mod, it was a fun ride and i feel honored to be able to work with so many skilled modders from all around the world ;)
So, enough talking, enjoy and dont forgett to visit the server which should be running for a while, also thanks to Neo82 for giving us dedicated online support for our mod aswell including a new autoupdater tool within this release which will allow us to fix any problems if needed!

is this the last version of the mod?
Most likely yes.
Last full release version BUT we will still investigate in bug-fixing, especialy since we can update the mod now on the run without you need to seperatly download patches.
When a update is available it will download and install automaticly when you launch the mod with the bf2modlauncher.exe included in this release ;)

I hope you lads fix the crashes to desktop as your mod is great. It crashes both in co-op and single player after about 5 mins of play.

FINALLY!
Its been amazing to watch this mod progress from an idea so long ago into something so beautiful now. This will easily be the best mod for BF2 and possibly one of the most ambitious, well planned and best made mods I have ever seen.
Keep up the good work with whatever you do after this mod.
it a bit sad but this mod will stay for a long long time in my pc it one of my favorite mod :)

Only server is the 100 slot server you can see in the server browser, the mod only works on this server!
Trying to load the new map Highway Tampa just makes the game crash
yes!no matter what map you load,it will collaspe after a period of time,so, I hope there is a patch to fix the problem.
I have the game returning to desktop when i use Highway Tampa, all the other maps are ok. I wanted to test it out on singleplayer mode, anyone had luck?

Theres some maps where when I start them play a little bit and crashes and others where it cant even load. Also theres a problem with the heatsiking missiles because sometime the lock mark doesnt appear but for the rest very nice mod loving it :D

so i was have problem installing battlefield 2....
first i install battlefield 2 without 1.31 patch and 1.4 patch and it works perfectly to me
and then i install with patch it turn BLANK SCREEN
windows 8.1 And the spec is amd quadcore a8,ram 2gb,radeon r5 1gb
Solution plz....
1. Install clean BF2
2. Install BF2 Patch 1.4 & BF2 Patch 1.5, then it should create xpack folder under mods, if not it wont work. Win7 x64.

@fredboy just open the multiplayertab and update the serverbrowser, there is only one server running the mod
For all those having issues with the scope shaders apearing on unscoped weapons, download this fix here and replace this dll file with yours inside the "Battlefield 2/RFX/" folder: Dl.dropboxusercontent.com
The core file download will also be updated asap to get rid of this bug, the server is not affected so you can play online with the old and the new file it doesnt make a change but fixing this issue, thanks to Bad_santa12345 for the quick fix! :)
I see an XM8 and an uzi in these screen shots, but haven't found them in the game?
The XM8 is in the us specops class customization and the UZI is very hidden and hard to find on maps!
Oh THAT XM8. Well, the specops "sub XM8" in the mod is really weird and unrealistic, I never use. In the screenshots I thought I saw the full-sized rifle version.

I looked at the screenshot again, and in that picture there is definitely a 'standard' model XM8 with the carry rail and a stock. I specifically remember the version in the mod is very different (and a bit dumb looking). Sorry if I'm being too critical!

you can get "the dam " to show up and play in single player after you edit the info file in the level folder. The file named "the dam" has game mode code that needs to be replaced. I used the code from the "strike at Karkand" info file.
Replace all the code under the paragraph that has the map specific title "the dam"
and save it . It will then show up and play in single player.
What if i only download the part 1 .. Will it still work? srry :D bad english

Hi this is a best mod i ever be played amazing mod realy just for me his crash on half of the game or when i try play lan with fiends, maybe someone now why ?? sry for english not local:D
