You know who i am, no i aint Santa, thought i got a present for you and i hope you guys wont be disapointed! No matter what, if you were naughty or nice, we worked hard to get this out to you right in time!
Thought be aware this time its a "public beta" so expect bugs or crashes, i have to say im sorry that we didnt had more time to check if realy everything works flawlessly, thought this is something almost impossible overall, so....
Anyway i hope you enjoy our mod and report possible bugs as usualy, just to inform you, it is well known that some maps will lag, unfortunately we reached the memory limits of the bf2.exe on some of our new maps and for now we dont realy have a proper solution for this, thought we plan to patch this as soon we do have a solution of corse!
Also there are unfixed bugs in this version that we are well aware of, thought thats what a beta is for, to find the reason for possible problems and fix them, so we can creat a patch that fixes those issues sooner or later.

Then you are doing something wrong, various devs of our team tested this version, be sure to have 1.41 and 1.5 patch for bf2 installed this mod dont work with any other versions of battlefield but the latest!

I have 1.5 version and the game crashes when loading any map around 63% when the game loads geometries... -.-

Sooo guys, i want to inform you now how further things will go from the release, i plan to write down every possible issue you are reporting us aswell those we already know and find in the beta testing phase!
After this we will try to fix as much as possible and try to optimise the game, dont forgett that this is a "public beta" i planed already some time to release this mod for you this christmas and as time got short alot got eighter forgotten or not checked.
So dont worry guys, there will be definitely a patch or two but not this week, i think you can understand that most of our devs including me are visiting relatives and stuff after christmas aswell we all deserve a bit of a break i think after all the hard work ;)
So heads up for those who got issues, you wont be forgotten, my "to fix" list is ready to collect bugs and in the end we will hopefuly fix as much as we can to make you all happy and able to enjoy the mod like you should!

Choosing RPK with silencer cause game to crash.

After I choose kits with M110 SASS and Honeybadger and try to switch weapons via mouse wheel game crashes.Also,big map where MEC and China are fighting each other crashes just after I join the game.
interesting, on what layer you crash on coast city? since i had some games on it on the 24th and no single crash, maybe menu icon related as it was a join button crash, thanks for the other mentionings *writes on list to fix*
64,also another weapon combination that causes crash is US Assault class M16A4 when you try to add snow textures and silencer at the same time.
The V.21 has the same thing when you grab an item like a browning, when you scroll up it crashes... happens on all the maps

Just my feedback.
You need to get rid of the compulsory 48 bots that are always present no matter what map size it is and regardless of what number of bots you have assigned to the number of bots slider. If players want to have 48 bots they'll make themselves have 48 bots with the slider in the co-op settings under multiplayer. It just means that it makes older systems struggle even more and it removes player flexibility if they want to play with less bots, also some maps with certain layers aren't meant to have 48 bots roaming around them.
Please remove this pointless new feature you've added.
On a side note apart from the bugs (it is a beta) everything else is great and you seemed to have fixed all the problems that were in v0.21

Or... get a 3rd party program that lets you edit the number of bots available? Because the '48' can be changed easily.

That's actually a pretty ignorant and unhelpful reply. You have absolutely zero idea what PC I'm using. It's not a laptop, and I have no problems with any other mods for BF2. I can also run most latest gen games with no problems. It has been acknowledged elsewhere that there are problems with the bots causing lag.
And how would I, or anyone else with bot related lag problems be 'dragging you down'? I only play single player, so we'll never meet (I'm glad to say) online.
If you can't reply in a civil manner, don't reply at all, okay?
you can change bot number to anything. just extract the ai default file and edit in notepad then save it and replace and there you go.

It is not possible, if you didnt realised it yet or live under a rock, gamespy closed down online support for all games that were running under the service, none of those games can be played online anymore without a community made service which we dont have
Hey, sorry to be that guy, but when you download the Core Levels you get a "Levels" file and a "Localization" file
Do you put them both in the core mod? The Localization overwrites some stuff

So this means it will never leave Alpha? No beta?
When a bot spawns it generates about 1 second of lag. This leads to massive lag after selecting the kit and pressing "Done".Also everytime a bot spawns the game lags.

Have some way to i kill the suppression effect (the motion blur and cam shake like when you're hit by a grenade)? because i can see barely nothing with the effect. *sry for my bad english :P

Friend, I am very enjoying your Mod, is a very different thing for battlefield 2, just fix the bug of the scopes of snipers, he is not centralized, so this very disturbing, you could also provide downloads of patches also next torrent? I am with a horrible internet lately, torrent would be faster, thanks
The sniper scopes are working 100% but the game isn't linked with your aspect ratio. Check the Alpha_Project_0.2_Ratio_Switch_Instructions.txt in your Alpha Project directory for a guide on fixing the aspect ratio ;)
