How come these white guys have winter facepaint in this snowy environment, whereas that black fellow has nothing? It seems he would need it most of all? lol (I hope this isn't taken as any sort of a racist comment, I just thought it was funny).
The reason for this is easy, its all about camoflage, the skincolor of white guys is a color that sticks out in a forest enviroment especialy in winter thats not the case with black skin since the brownish color blendsway better in natural enviroment so they dont need facepaint :-) also because some said the facepaint is to much i can say a definitive no to this because something i wanted to create with this camo and map that it blends perfect and works. And it does ^^
US just uses white jackets+pants. There is also a lot of M81 cold weather gear...
This is a unofficial camo the usmc does use maybe only special units or so however i found informations and pictures with usmc soldiers using this uniforms and overall ap was never about realism those snowmarpats uniforms imo look way better than the "old" white ones ;-)

Would be more accurate to have a camo balaclava than the face camo. Keeps you warm and keeps you a bit harder to see.
