I have suceeded in fixed most of the bugs and have released alphas and betas to my friends to test, they have been impressed so I have decided to release it.

This mod adds 15 new generals YES 15!

USA:
-Airforce General - Loads of fixes here most notibly the defences didnt detect stealth uh oh
-USA Naval General
-Commander in Chief
-Assault General
-Cybernetic General NEW
-USA Special Forces -NEW Hmm need advice if this is overpowered or not

China: MASSIVE BUG FIXED - you used to get 1 defector per properganda centre which could equal to a unfair advantage, this has now been fixed.
-Tank & Naval General
-Commander in Chief - See for yourself =)
-Artillery General - Fixed major bug with this one
-Napalm General - added ICBM
-China Hijacker General (Boss - Balanced)

GLA:
-Stealth General - fixed slowdowns
-United Arabs - fixed more gla power bugs and loads more
-GLA Civilians NEW - Superweapon - Civilains Revolt
-Toxic General - Fixed major slowdown and imbalances added a MUCH better superweapon =)

Only Major bug left is the AI which is mostly broken some work fine though.

Uploading Is Finished!

This is my first public stable release of The Alpha Alliance mod, although I have bugchecked as much as possible still some slip out so please tell me when you find a bug no matter how small.

Current Known Bugs Found After Compile:

*Galactic Magnetic Cannon - When it is used the massive icon where it shows the distance it hits is missing
*Airforce Generals Combat Chinook Does not have the full model.
*Needs a decent graphics card to run new graphics.

--------INSTALLATION-----------

You'll need Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour (English) version 1.04 installed

1. Make sure you have a clean, updated and working version of Zero Hour installed.

2. Go To C:/Program Files/EA Games/Command & Conquer Generals - Zero Hour and copy the entire folder (This is so the original zero hour will still work fine =) )

3. Rename the new folder Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour - Alpha Alliance

4. Install The Mod TO RENAMED COPIED DIRECTORY CHECK ON THE SCREEN!

5. Start the game by launching the working shortcut on the desktop. The first time you do this it might take a while as it compiles the new data.

----UNINSTALL----

Delete the copied folder and delete the shortcut to it

The A.I. needs to be harder. This is extremely easy especially with the special forces general.

Can you put it into Crosus?

Special Forces General is fun, but clearly overpowered, I don't see how you could not notice that LOL. But really, you can get a humvee and put 2 snipers, 2 missile defenders and an agent and roll through an entire base.

another thing you that should be done is finishing the rest of the AIs, but other wise great mod. also the special forces general seems a bit overly powerful.

I'm getting the "technical problem" error message too. I've also reinstalled the patch for version 1.04 and even tried rebooting my computer. I consistently get that error message whatever I try. If any help is around, I'd appreciate it.

Try removing c&c completely then install, then patch to 1.04, then install the mod. if not I don't know whats wrong, unless it's a currupt setup file you downloaded.

I m have question.Did Infantry of special forces general is stronger than normal USA infantry?[not special units like marines LAW defenders and etc]

Suggestion:

Please make it more realistic.
Like, One Tank-Shot, Infantry Dies.
Shorter Paradrop Time, Shorter Airstrike Time.
Tone down the Over kill Tank MG by a bit.
And the Missile Launcher Infantry should also 1-Hit Kill Infantry.
And The Cyborg should easily kill all the Enemy Infantry.
And the Rangers should have Tougher Armor but Slightly Less Firepower than the Rebel or the Repub. Guard.
And Finally, Please make ALL the Infantry shoot ONLY Helicopter's and get a 25-30% Hit Chance.

why not just get final big editor and do it your self?
just open the INI files in your zero hour folder find the units you mentioned and adjust them.
they will be under data object , then it will say china usa etc.
edit the weapon INI for damage and fire power etc
