T 70 X wing prototype image - Alliance at War mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption

This addition made possible by Clonetrooper163. The T-70 started development during the Galactic Civil War and by 5 ABY, at least one prototype was seeing use. After the Battle of Jakku, it went into full production for a while, but was stopped when the Galactic Concordance was signed. It was mainly due to the Military Disarmament Act which went into effect when the Galactic Civil War ended. Unlike other prototypes, this one can actually be constructed once you lost it. Currently I have it set for a max of 3 flights at any one time, so if you lost them, they can be replaced. This is a very powerful starfighter. It will tear TIE's to shreds. Treat the T-70 as a slightly buffed T-65. The cannons are a bit better, it will fly a little bit quicker, and it comes with an astromech droid, which means it receives the same passive bonus that all starfighters with astro droids receives. Players can build it at tech level 5, at level 5 capital shipyards.
