Golan 2 and ISD I-class image - Alliance at War mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption

I wanted to group these two together in a post as they will be working closely together in GC. This is the Golan 2 and the Imperial I-class Star Destroyer. The ISD I-class has been requested for some time. I did not have it on my list until modder GP1701 found me a model I really liked and could pair well with the ISD II-class. For the ISD I-class, special thanks to Avenger85, Clonetrooper163 and GP1701. The ISD I is not going to be a main unit in GC, but I do have more plans for it down the road. Players can build it in Skirmish if they like, but in GC it will only be available as a reinforcement ship at the Golan 2. In Canon, the Empire ended ISD I production some time before 10 BBY. Alliance at War as of this posting takes place from 0 BBY to 5 ABY, but I still wanted the ISD I to be apart of it. At first glance, it stats might appear the same as the ISD II, but its stats are slightly less in some areas. I will do more with this ship in the future.

Now the Golan 2, special thanks to modders Evillejedi, Steiner0815, MaxiM and ThatOneBullet. At the point in time when AaW takes place, the Golan 2 has started to replace the Golan 1 as the Golan 1 would be more Clone War/early Empire, we have kind of moved on to the Golan 2, so there is no Golan 1. You are going straighter to the 2. Stat wise, its shields are roughly 50% stronger than a Cardan level 4 station, but not as good as a level 5. This station can only be built in the Deep Core and Core worlds. Rebel players, the closer you get to the heart of the Empire, the stronger resistance will become and I wanted this to be an example of that. Imperial players, this platform will give you an ISD I, but you only get one. You will get unlimited flights of TIE fighter's, but only one ISD I. Aside from multiple turbolasers, it is also armed with torpedo launchers. Dare the enemy to attack it.
