This mod, formally named Violet Alliance, enhances the original game by unlocking, changing, and adding. Enjoy. :^)

Description

This addition made possible by Evillejedi, The_Farseer and Paulo Caninde'. This ship has been in many mods, many comics, may projects, for a time it was even in Alliance at War. It has been gone for years, it comes from a time when balance was way different, now it makes its return, the Dreadnought-class Heavy Cruiser. I expect few to remember when it was in AaW, but if you do, know that it is balanced way different now. Treat this as a mid-level tank. This ship will replace the Acclamator II-class Assault Ship at tech 3. For Acclamator fans, your Assault Ship is not completely going away, but more being decommissioned the way the Venator II-class is at tech 4. You can still keep any Acclamator's you built previously, though. As time goes on, the Empire moves further and further from Clone War era tech, and while this ship is a very dated, it is still maintained and used by the Imperial Navy. For a while longer anyway. For balance, its shields are very thin for a ship its class and size, and will not last long under stress, but its hull plating is extremely durable. Part of me sees it as the opposite of the MC40a in that the MC40a has extremely durable shields for its class and size, but its hull plating could be better. The Dreadnought on the other hand has poor shields, but very thick hull plating for its class and size. They are both tanks, just how they tank is different. As for weapons, I do not want Acclamator fans to feel as though they are losing when the torch is passed. You have the same exact number of weapon hardpoints as the Acclamator did, but now you can take some hits. Welcome back to frontlines in Alliance at War, Dreadnought-class Heavy Cruiser.
