Goal
The goal of this mod is to place you into a deep and treacherous land called Alagaesia. In Alagaesia humans are not at the top of the food chain. You have to survive in a land of Dragons and Razac who are capable of destroying elite warriors and budding civilizations; however, humanity's worst enemy is himself and the most dangerous traps are those of ultimate power.
What’s Been Done and What to expect in Beta 1.2.0
The civics and tech tree have been redone from scratch. Graphically impressive units and building have been added. The civilizations have also been redone. You can now play as Arya of the Elves, Durza of the Urigals, or one of the many other leaders we’ve added. Dragons now roam the land looking for cities to plunder, and Razac eat unsuspecting workers. Also included is the good evil meter allowing you to dynamically change you civilizations disposition. This meter also unlock powers that will help you civilization survive the land of Alagaesia, for the minions of heaven and hell will come to aid of one who is worth and can bridge the gap to the void.
Initial Release
Beta: 0.0.1
I'm planning to release then initial version of this mod on Monday, March 5, 07. To see an overview of development take a look at the image gallery. This mod will contain rampaging dragons who will invade you cities and the wild fire component that allow fire's to spawn and spread resulting in destruction wherever they spread.
In addition to these game-play enhancements there are new civilizations, leaders, units, and recourses all at you disposal. However, you will need all your skill and resources to fend of the powerful barbarians, animals, and dragons that only want you dead.
Good luck,
ClassicThunder
=/ i love Eragon history, would be cool if this mod be created for Civ 5.
Is this Mod dead? Cause it seems like it would be really cool but there's been no news in the last 2 years almost. Oh well :(.
It's good the only thing wrong is for Galbatorix the calvary and wards upgrades cause errors. You can get them for free with Oracle and the like but if you research them it drags you out of the game and asks you if you want to send an error report.
This is....... well, sounds interesting... I liked the book not so much the movie. The movie was okay but... doesnt quite match up to most of the movies out today... Great book though :D
I will try this mod, i love it when people take unique ideas... beautiful job fellas.
Unique??
Check out the downloads section at the website for the new download! 14 new units, new buildings, addition of the dynamic Good Evil meter, and more balanced gameplay. Your good evil raying changes depending on your actions. Razing cities and warring on your neighbors will gain you evil points. While negotiating peace will do the opposite. Going either way will unlock units that are not available for training any other way.

It's been available for a little while now but I never got the time to announce it. Feel free to leave feedback and bug reports in the forums or here. 1.1.0 is more stable then 1.0.0 and the game-play flows better. I intend to release a patch that will improve the dragon spawn system before the next beta release.

There are going to be more differences then you seem to believe. I personally haven't played FFH2 much because I don't like having my work influenced though admittedly it is probably the best mod for Civilization at this time. However, you might want to keep an eye out because me and my team might just surprise you. Even though I must admit that it will take alot of work to catch up with FFH 2.
