Hey guys, I'm AL88 and I bring you my way of playing Vanilla Doom: "AL_Doom88". I am not a modder, what I did was to mix some WADs made by third parties to create my own gameplay (the entirely list of WADs that I used and the thanks giving are in "download session"). My idea was to combine my favorite game features in the 3 main versions of Doom that I usually play (PSX, PC, N64) to give light to a creepy and dark Vanilla experience. "AL_Doom88" brings: Map textures and weapon sprites from Doom 64; Introduction screen, fonts, soundtrack and sound effects for PSX Doom; Super Shotgun and the enemies of Doom II (if you playing The Ultimate Doom); Status Bar in widescreen, without that strange green marble on the sides; Flashlight. To play just download the zip file "AL_Doom88" and drag it into the engine (I usually use LZDoom), or in the external ZDL files area (I do it this way). Well, I hope you enjoy the experience.
