Some AI enhanced/upscale chenanigans for XIII Cutscenes. It makes them clearer and fixes those nasty interlaced lines in some of them. Note that they are still 640x480 as the game won't accept higher resolutions, but they still look nicer! Also keep in mind that in game the cutscenes will look a lil off, probably because the game uses a lower color depth, but the actual .bik video file is the same as the screenshots.

Description

First and probably final version. Just replace the "Video" folder on the game's root or rename the original "Video" folder to "VideoOld" or something, you know how it works right?

Improvements are welcome but 640x480 is no way to go!

Try bink dlls of same major versions but higher minor version to accept resolution higher than 480p.

Also rip source videos from xbox or even ps2, they are in higher quality than PC version videos and make upscale from them.

Just a general advice - if you see crappy quality PC prerendered cutscene, check video files from Playstation of Xbox iso, the can be much better.

You'd expect the PC version to be better huh? I didn't knew about it!
Also I haven't thought on replacing the bink .dll files for a newer version, trying to fix the video not running in-game + low color depth.
I'm quite busy this end of year but whenever I got time, and if this works, I might make a v2 and update the mod.
Thanks for the heads up!

Another thing you might consider (or heck, I might do it!) is re-encoding the videos to be widescreen friendly, since the existing widescreen hacks stretch the (already letterboxed) videos. No biggy, it's already a great mod!
