The Neuron is an unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) developed by several ESDF nations. Equipped with laser guided bombs, the Neuron is effective against groups of enemy vehicles and buildings. Using a standoff weapon, the Neuron can engage targets from a further distance and with greater accuracy but overall destruction is less when compared to a conventional carpet bombing run.
As the Neuron is unmanned, it cannot gain experience but its reduced weight and aerodynamic design leads to increased flight speed.
The Neuron is the standard bomber of the ESDF armed forces and is highly effective against structures and groups of units. Whilst the bomber is somewhat resistant to basic AA weapons, the heavy AA guns deployed in enemy bases and advanced units can pose a serious threat to the Neuron.
