Hello Fans! Here we are again with another progress update. First off, we'd like to wish our retired Modeler Tricorder good luck. He's going to be going to Iraq very soon and we hope he makes it out alright. With that in mind, here are some of the latest pics:

Before we end this update, here's some more info about the gameplay of the mod. Remember, if you'd like to have a question answered then please post it in the appropriate area on our forums.

Q : How will you make money?

A : Unlike the original GC, Money making may take a bit more than wildly clicking on your M(ining)F(acilities)

MF's are only available on Key Planets, and are a rarity most of the time. Instead, you'll have to control Asteroid Fields of that time period, There's a number of them and they naturally have a higher Credit income that can, of course, be raised with the Asteroid Facilities.

Planets like Peragus and other renowned places of the time will have a much higher credit income however.

You will also be able to make Trade stations, how much you makes depends on the Planet it is built on.

Q : How will units be made?

A : In order to make it so people have to appropriately choose the correct Planets and not just conquer a Planet for revenue, Things like Ships need the appropriated Shipyards.

Ships like the Hammerhead will require Light Production Yards before they can be built, Though to produce ANY kind of product in Space, you will need a Command Station, which are like the ones in Vanilla EAW, but much tougher.

Q : So how does this work out in Skirmish? What happens when my Light/Heavy/Command is destroyed.
A : In Skirmish, you will be able to build as many Stations as you want. (Though only TWO Commands are allowed per Player) Light and Heavies are outfitted with Hyper drives, and can be built from all Stations meaning the opposing player will struggle to quell your forces. (Though this is only done for Skirmish Gameplay and is NOT in Galactic Conquest, No hyperdriving Shipyards into opposing Planets...)

Q : Land is horribly boring, What will you be doing to make it funner...?

A : Firstly is speed, We will be making Infantry die faster, as well as increase their speed.

Second is RTBB : You are now able to build bases, Each one is unique in some way to each and every Faction...

How does it work ? : You will need a Construction Droid firstly, Each Mark (Mark 1 and 2) Produces a different type of Build Pad...Mark 1's are only able to produce Minor Build pads (The kinds you see on Maps).

Mark 2's can make those PLUS large ones, the large ones will make different kinds of buildings from artillery emplacements to infantry outposts.

Q : Are the Mandos playable? and if so, How do they work? Will they basicly be a mirror of the Republic?

A : Yes, and no way! hey will have their unique weaponry and skills. They also have more vehicles than any other faction.
