In an alternate timeline, what if the French Revolution simply didn't succeed? Yes, we all know that everyone was starving and the army would probably join the revolution aswell, but we know that the King of France was married to a Austrian, in this timeline, the Austrian Empire sends it's foreign troops with the mission to facify France after a risky agreement with the french, thanks to this, the revolution is crushed and the ideas of the enlightenment do not spread and impact as heavily as in our original timeline, plus, the HRE still exists!
