A major modification for The Titans and Extended Edition with the intent of expanding the game with new units, technologies, features, fixes, and much more.
Expanded Mod version 2.3.3 for Extended Edition refer to /docs/ folder contained in expanded mod core for complete list of changes from prev. versions and 1.3 to 2.0. Not compatible with disk/Titans. Extract it into your /steam/common/age of mythology/mods folder.

DATA/MAIN/BALANCE
- Ulfsarks now cost the same resources as unmodded AoM, so now they're back to a "general purpose infantry" unit.
- Vaeringi now cost less food, gold instead of wood at a lower cost, and have less hand attack, but gain additional hack damage.
- Ocelotl are now trained faster, are trash units, available in the Heroic Age, but are now made of paper against archers. Basically trash fanatic.
- Armored Elephants no longer replace War Elephants, and are simply now their own class of unit. However they have been made more expensive and powerful to compensate. Armored Elephants also no longer have a special attack.
- Velites are slightly more pricy.
- Tweaked Norse Skirms and Bowmen.
-- Bowmen train faster, and are much cheaper.
-- Skirms train slightly faster, have more pierce armor but less hack armor, cost more food, but less wood, and have less hitpoints.
- Muster/Levy/Conscript now decreases train time by 25%.
-- Egyptian unit traintime techs are now cheaper.
- Riddarinn now cost more gold, have slightly more hitpoints, +0.5 attack, more hack armour, but less pierce armour, and take 1 less second to train.
- All herdable units cost half their resources (i.e Cows are now 50 Gold, Goats 25, etc)
- Hersethingr now affects attack instead of hitpoints.
- Sphendonetes now costs +5 food.
- Hunting Dogs line now increases hunting by 25% (50% in total) It however doesn't affect the gather rate of Chickens/Ducks anymore.
- Husbandry now enables training herd animals, but looses the increased speed increase. It also increases the gather rate of Chickens/Ducks now.
- Sheperdry no longer enables herd animals, but boosts their speed instead. It also increases the gather rate of Chickens/Ducks now.
- Gathering from herd units is now +0.20 faster for all civs by default. However researching the Husbandry line now only increases gather-rate by 10% (instead of 15%)
-- This means all Hunting researches increases gather rate by 50% in total compared to Husbandry's 20% total, meaning that Hunting will be better in the long run with all techs.
- Education now makes University techs 25% cheaper. It also now takes -100 less of each resources to research.
- Atlantean Arquebusiers are now trained (and researched) at their Archery Barracks.
- Atlantean Horse Archers now train slightly faster, cost less gold, are available in the Heroic Age, and fire 25% faster by default, however they deal much less damage, have shorter range and line of sight, and 10 less hitpoints.
-- Now they're Mangudai instead of AoE2 Cav Archers, or AoE1 Horse Archers.
-- Also gave them a small x1.5 damage vs Villagers.
- Updated Golden Lions, so they aren't a giant joke unit, they still aren't perfect, basically two free glass cannons.
- Proper Egyptian themed maps, now have Ostriches instead of Zebras, since in reality, Zebras didn't exist in Egypt.
ART/SOUND
- Vaeringi now have sounds.
- Jarls now follow the Copper - Bronze - Iron texture upgrade format.
- Light Camels now use Khopeshes instead of Swords to seperate them from Camelry more.
- Replaced the Khopesh (sword) model with that of Nick3069's, which means they now have upgradable textures.
- Added sounds for the Ostrich.
- Cows and Hippos now have ambient sounds.
- Golden Fleece is no longer a case of "NICE FUCKIN MODEL" it's glow is poistioned correctly, and shows player colour.
- Atlantean Onagers (not Arcuballistae) now have Engineers texture, and updated the old ones to be consistent with Atlantean siege aesthetics.

GENERAL
- Preservation and Food Drying is now exclusive to the Chinese.
- Barter, and Handicraft tech lines pushed to the Heroic Age.
- Divided Sappers and Siegecraft, the latter no longer provides a bonus for Villagers. Atlanteans and Chinese get Sappers, Greeks and Egyptians get Siege Craft now.

- Integrated the "Cinematic Pot" object into the Pots object. Pots in cinematics will now be 3d clay pots.
- Gates now only have 50% hack armour, also updated Unlocked and Locked Gates so they now have the same armour as default gates.
- Advanced Military Tacticians is now called Advanced Military Tactics and increases the maximum range of their boost ability.
- Targets and Thumb Ring is now cheaper.
GREEKS
- Greeks get Pure Breeds now (because Macedon)
- Zeus Hoplite Speed changed to affect all Infantry (since it was odd to have something affect a specific unit, not to mention the slashing of his anti-building bonus)
- Thessalian Shock Cavalry now deal trample damage by default.
- Sphendonetes now known as Rhodian Slingers and they more or less function to how Peltasts use to function in EM. Still a soft counter vs Archers I guess.
-- Peltasts are now Anti-Archers again, and their states are reverted back to pre EM levels. Just now trash units.
- Greeks no longer get their trash Bowman anymore. Trash Archers are more an Egyptian/Chinese/Atlantean thing than Greek.
- Ekdromos now cost 50f, 20g, but are slightly better against eco units.
- Agrianian Scouts are now located in the Military Academy, for good reason. Because they suck, they're now cheaper gold-wise.
- Pezhetairoi have been rebalanced as a slightly slower medium infantry unit, and are no longer trash infantry, but gain trample damage and are now good against heavily armored human units a-la Atlantean Decanus.
- Tweaked Thracian Nobleman, they now have a bonus attack against Buildings, have more hitpoints, are slightly cheaper, and have slightly better armour.
- Thespian Hoplites are now cheaper, and no longer have bonuses against infantry, or cavalry.
- Hetairoi now correctly deal bonus damage towards buildings.
- Fixed an issue where Stratagos' boost effect and animation didn't work.
EGYPTIANS
- Skirmishers no longer deal bonus damage vs Archers.
- Egyptians no longer get Logistics.
- Due to it's removal (cavalry tactics) Egyptian Chariots are now scythe chariots by default, dealing trample damage to nearby enemy units.
- No longer get Galatian Swordsmen anymore. Get Medjay Bodyguard instead, which fulfil the role of a stronger (more expensive) version which deals bonus damage against armored units.
- No longer get Anusiya either. Mostly because having an obviously Persian unit could bite me back in the future (if a Mesapotamian DLC gets made) but partly because having an obviously Persian unit, doesn't fit in with Egypt's visual style. Partly balance as well, having a unit that's basically a Temple Spearman but with bonuses against cav, infantry and a bonus ranged attack is a bit much.
- Removed Greek influence from the Medjay Agema, now called the Medjay Horseman, replaced their head with the Spearman's and updated their icon. Now correctly deal bonus damage towards buildings.
- Egyptian Pharaoh's Chosen General Gore Attack now only works against Myth Units, however his Boost ability only works against Human Soldiers now like the Strategos.
NORSE
- Norse Raiders are now trash infantry.
- Odin's Hill Fort bonus now applies to all Hill Fort units. Jarls no longer affected.
- Boos now correctly have Gatherpoints.
- Fixed Foringi description. Gore/Battlecry abilities now function like other generals.
- Thor now gets Beowulf instead of Odin. Odin now gets Siegfried. This means Thor gets TWO unique heroes.
- Loki no longer gets Ornlu (Hero) as his main anymore, gets Narfi (Hero) instead, who can train Ornlu, other myth units, and can be resurrected in battle.
-- Ornlu S is no longer classified as a Hero, and has a lifespan of 30 seconds.
- Norse no longer get Forging or Cuppellation anymore, which should make Thor more relevent to Armory bonuses.
- Thor's unique armory upgrades now take -10 seconds less to research.
ATLANTEANS:
- Atlanteans no longer get Construction Cranes for free now.
- Atlanteans no longer get access to Woodworking.
- Aquaducts now reduces farm cost by 25% instead of half.
- Atlanteans now follow the likes of the Egyptians and their Levy/Conscript techs are now divided. Like the Egyptians they are divided, based on Building, rather than class.
-- Atlanteans no longer get Muster Soldiers, let alone for free. Not to mention, they are very expensive. Good luck using Atlanteans late game now.
- Atlanteans no longer get Provisions or Pure Breeds.
- Cuirassiers to seperate them from Lancers now have 25% hack armour (but 15% pierce armour), a small bonus vs Infantry, move slower, have a smaller LOS, and deal trample damage.
- Atlanteans can now train their Turkeys again.
- Atlanteans can now research Shepherdry and Selective Breeding now.
- Fixed an oversight where Biremes were 2 population instead of 1.
- Atlantean Stableyards now have a unique description.
- Gaia's Augurs can now be selected when "easy drag military select" is enabled.
- Decanus can now correctly deal bonus damage towards buildings.
- Aquilarius can now attack enemy units, and have a larger attack bonus provided when boosting nearby cavalry.
- Vexillarius now has a larger attack bonus provided when boosting nearby infantry.
- Dominates can now boost nearby human soldiers again, though in a smaller range, and less powerful than Aquillarius or Vexillarius.
RANDOM MAPS
- Sahara no longer has central forests, or a central settlement anymore. Now it's more true to it's name, and functions like an Arabia-type map.
- Thanks to Hagrit, Golden Fleece has been completely overhauled, it is now a hybrid of Capture the Flag, KOTH and Sea of Worms (but Greek, and with more resources)
- Added Baltic RM, which is basically a Norse themed version of Mediterranean without the wiggle terrain and deer-units, central island, berries or grass/flower patches, and a Norse theme with Herring, Wolves, Bears, Geese, Silver Mines, snowy oaks/pines and Snowy terrain.
- Alps no longer has ruins, and each player now only has 1 relic each.
- Added Norweigan Forest (an Expanded Mod version of the same map by YmirTheTitan) a woodland rich map with much food, wood, geese and copper mines.
- Removed some of the iffy, more dodgy maps (i.e Painted Desert, which is an American thing, weird disscoiative map. Crete and Lumber Camp doesn't even support multiple players)
- Updated various RM names, details, and icons.

GENERAL
- Cleaned up some ambient sound definitions, Oak Trees, Pine Trees, etc now have seperate unique ambient sound definitions, so now some ambient sounds will have a chance to play.

NORSE
- Stone Throwers now correctly deal AoE damage. They also no longer deal Pierce damage but rather Hack Damage.
ATLANTEAN
- Added Cheiroballista (Hero) a Hero unit that can be transformed from CBs.
- Arcuballistae now deal AoE damage towards enemy units. Attack rate has been corrected. They are now cheaper, have more accuracy, cost -1 population but have shorter range.
RANDOM MAPS
- Tundras now have Snowy Owls instead of Vultures.
- Fixed Mount Olympus, and updated it with JeHathor's version, now a central mountain with a relic and settlement spawns. Also drastically decreased the amount of water pools and single oaks that spawn massively decreasing the chance of the player area not spawning.
- Added "Inland" a 'Green Arabia'-type map.
- Fixed Baltic, Silk Road, Sahara, River Mekong, and Rocky Mountains icons.

- Fixed an issue where Herd animals managed to revert back to their old costs somehow.

GREEK
- All Greek Heroes now play "A Hero has Fallen" when they die.
- Greek Slaves (Dolous) can now build the Theatrons in the Heroic Age.
-- Only one can be built, as long as a Theatron is standing Human Soldiers, Heroes and Villagers move faster, Heroes and Buildings have more hitpoints, and Human Soldiers have more Armour. Theatrons slowly generate favor as well.
EGYPTIAN
- Libraries are now free.
- Shrines now cost 30 Gold.
- Fixed an issue where Egyptians couldn't train Medjay Bodyguards.
- Monobeles now correctly deal area damage. Pierce Damage has been increased to 24. They are now 100% accurate, have only 1 projectile, and have a spread factor of 1.5.
NORSE
- Hill Forts can now research Infantry and Cavalry upgrades at the hill fort.
- Longhouses now cost 90 wood, and Norse Stables now cost 90 wood as well.
ATLANTEAN
- Atlanteans now start with a 15% boost in Human Soldier train times to counteract their later expensive Levy/Conscript line, and slower train times by the end of the game (totalling to a 65% train time decrease by late games compared to other cultures 75%)
- Fixed Atlantean Torch glow effect position.
- Fixed Lacquarius Head
- Light Infantry renamed to Hoplomachus
- Caladria are no longer useless and gain an attack, considering their "staffs" are just bows.
-- Cost 120w, 10fa now, reverted speed to pre-patch 1.02 (titans patch) levels. Now classified as a MythUnitArcher and deals bonus damage vs MythUnitInfantry.
- Heart of the Titans revised, gets their cost decrease back, but only by 10%, movement speed buff scaled to 10% increase as compensation.
- Gaia no longer gets cheaper Heroes anymore.
- Gave the Evocatus a buff in hitpoints, damage, damage against infantry, speed and armour to make them less of a joke unit.
- Fixed Celeres' Heavy-tier texture bug when attacking, they now deal x2 damage vs siege and eco units, and now correctly deal bonus damage vs turma and Essedarius. Now have +1 attack too.
- Herisfon now functions as La Hire-esque hero, an absolute destroyer of a hero, but now costs an additional 100 gold, and is a Mythic Age unit.
CHINESE
- Chinese Temples have been updated, they are now much better looking, and accurate.
RANDOM MAPS
- Inland is now called Galgvior. It also no longer plays an "intro" anymore.
- Norweigian Forest is now called Jarnvior.
- Added another new map: Myrkvior which is basically Black Forest by Monty_Python from AoMH

GENERAL
- Greek enemies now train Hoplites, and Falxmen, as well as Thueros and Thoras in Atlantis Reborn.
- Added "Water Buffalo" which is basically a copy of the Water Buffalo with a player color collar that is a herdable.
- Vanilla Water Buffalos renamed to Cape Buffalo. Also fixed their description.
- Non-villager units can no longer attack or target Herd Animals.
- You can no longer convert an ally's herd animals, or convert any farms/plantations (without gathering them)
- Herdables now have unique creation sounds.
- Town Guard units (except Scythian Toxotes) are now trained in 5 seconds, and cost only 1 population.
- In-game UI now shows Turn Times, as in p2.8 vanilla.
- Villagers Herdable gather rate reset to pre-2.3.4, but now Selective Breeding increases villager gather rate of herdable units.
- Ambassadors no longer provides the sharing of line of sight between you and your allies.
- Writing's increased attack now given to Weaving, Weaving now costs 75 gold, Writing no longer increases Villager trainspeed/LOS, and no longer requires Weaving.

- Map Making and Military Foresight now increase villager line of sight.

- Pickers Gloves now increase Gather Rate of Berries (and other wild crops) by 50% now. Now researches in 20 seconds.
- Fishing Techniques now increase Villager Fishing rate by 50% instead of 15%.

- Merged Siege Craft and Sappers as "Siege Craft" (and uses Siege Craft's icon), and gave it to all civilizations in the Heroic Age for 250w and 250g. Mahouts, Ulfsarks, Roararii and Peasant Infantry now affected, Slingers and Sphendonetes no longer affected. The Former gain a x5 attack bonus, whilst the latter gain x2. They also gain an attack bonus vs Siege Weapons.
- Ship Armour Line has been moved to the Armory.
- Wolves now have a max limit to their death sounds, so ears don't self destruct when fimbulwinter ends.
- Plantations now have sounds, unique sounds. ;)
- You can select Waves and gather fish from them again.
- Renamed Whale to Fin Whale. Added an icon, and history file.

- Metal Weapons lines now longer affect the look of Bows, instead Horn Bow line affects the look.

- Engineers now affects Siege Ships.
- Horn Bow line now affects Archer Ships.
- Ghost Lake lighting should be more accurate to vanilla. Added clouds as well.

- Shock Cavalry have been tweaked, they now have much more health, and vary damage based on their culture's military focus.
- Tracking (tech) has been further increased by +2 LOS (so +4 LOS for Scouts instead of just +2 LOS)
- Fishing Ships no longer affected by Chaos.
- Farmers regain their original gather rates when you advance to the Heroic Age.
- Wheelbarrow now costs 75w and 75f. Handcart now costs 125w and 125f.
- Due to all the buffs recieved in EM, Watch Towers now only fire one arrow at a time. This should also help even out Tower Guards line.
- Crowned Cranes can now be one shot by Villagers (and nearly all units for the record) now.

GREEKS
- Theatrons now have unique sounds (instead of placeholder owl sounds)
- Theuerophoroi tweaked, compared to the Hoplite they cost less food, but are more offensive orientated with 9 attack, 20 H/P armour, and have 95 hitpoints.
- Hypaspists now train slower as they should.
- Fixed an issue that caused Theatrons not to be buildable. Theatrons can now correctly be built in the Heroic Age.
--- Theatrons now correctly have a build limit of 1.
- Due to the amount of Units, and it being such a specific building. Strongholds are no longer buildable. All Greek Villagers can now build the Theatron instead.
- Beast Slayer no longer affects Gastraphetes or Hetairoi, but rather Hippotoxotai and Kataphractoi instead.
- Hades no longer gets access to Hephaestus, but rather his own unique Mythic Age minor Goddess: Persephone. And get access to a new myth unit: The Griffon. For her unique techs find out ;)
- Weapon of the Titans no longer affect Hippotoxotai.
- Trierarch now increases the hack and pierce armour of Triremes rather than just Crush armour.
- Fixed Ekdromos Heavy/Champion Head
- Redesigned all the vanilla greek units (or reset to vanilla art but with heavy/champion art changed to reflect bronze/iron), to be much more similar to vanilla, whilst still keeping within the "historically accurate" aesthetics.
-- Added a new set of shields to represent Hoplons for Hoplites, Epilektoi, etc
-- Redesigned the Epilektoi because they suck visually.
-- Hippeis now have a much better body texture that's has much more player colour, better contrast, and a generally better aesthetic.

EGYPTIANS
- Set can now research Feral in the Archaic Age.

- Spearman, Slinger and Chariot Archer now use their original ES textures, now just modified to follow the copper - bronze - iron format.
- New Kingdom Pharaoh's bonus vs MUs dropped to x4 like normal Pharaohs.
- Isis no longer grants faster training economic units.
- Standardised Sasirbak design, no longer follow Fletchery (or any for that matter) upgrade lines.
- Fixed an issue where Chariot Archer wheels were inconsistent with the chariot base.
- Updated Scythe Chariot design (for one it actually has Scythed wheels)
-- Buffed the Chariot, more hitpoints, attack, now slightly slower than chariot archers.
- Shock Lancers now deal trample damage.
- Fixed the Chariot Archer's shield.
NORSE
- Harjars are now correctly classified as Human Soldiers.
- Oximathar now use Swords instead of Axes for variety. Also fixed the funkiness when upgrading to Champion infantry. Can now be trained in the Heroic Age. Now function properly as a Shock unit, just without the boost ability.
- Champions, and Dengrir no longer train MUCH faster than other Norse units.
- Danish Reforms speed boost no longer based on percent, but absolute, it increases the speed of all infantry by 0.2 units.
- Bloodbath cheaper, no longer affects hitpoints, but increases infantry attack speed by 20% now.
- Perfusion now works again, but only increases the train rate of Longhouse units, now takes longer to research, and costs +100 wood.
- Thor now gets a unique "line" of Ship Armour upgrades in the sense it's just the normal ones but cheaper/research faster, just no fourth "super tech" for it.
- Hel can train Mountain Giants on her own again.
- Mounted Pillagers now have sounds.
- Pillage now increases hand cavalry attack vs buildings by x3 instead of x2.
- Norse Slaves can no longer build (except farms and apiaries)
- Fixed Norse Temple of the Gods
- Updated vanilla norse shields to follow the copper - bronze - iron format.
- Have access to Military Foresight.
ATLANTEAN
- Llamas now cost 38 gold, and have a max "carry" cap of 500. Fixed description. Trained faster.
- Caladrias now cost 150w and 18 favor.
- Atlanteans no longer get access to Economic Laws.
- Stableyards now have unique sounds.
- Legionaire is now +0.6 faster by default.
- Dryads now deal crush damage, they are nature servants after all, it's only natural they'd hate buildings.
-- If you control two Hesperides Trees, you can now train another five Dryads. (This is based upon Birkaland's Tale of the Chicken, cheers to him)
- Decurions renamed to Cursarius, they now have "wings" in their heavy/champion upgrade, and have new head designs.
-- Now actually have bonuses vs infantry, and heros. Also gain a bonus vs Economic units as well.
- Oracle Scouts, Legionaires and Essedarius can now escape Frost by Heroizing, like all Atlantean heroes.

- Supply Wagon no longer has a rider anymore.

- Fixed the AI of the Atlantean, and Chinese. Protip: Don't stick the enabling of units in "Age x" generic techs.
- Ballistics now seperate (aka no longer requires it) from Mathematics.

GREEK
- Updated Sphendonetes Bored and Walk Animation
- Updated Wraith texture, icon, now has a shield again.
- Normalized Alexander (Poseidon Hero) to Age 4 like the rest of the Greeks.
EGYPTIAN
- Campaign Theris and Supremacy Theris are now two different units, preventing balance issues between campaign and supremacy. Theris (Hero) can now be trained in the Mythic Age.
- Cult of Sobek now only costs gold and favor.
- Changed Baskilon Guard head to be more...Egyptian.
- Brought back Bone Handles for Anubis.
- Can now research Ptah LFS and SA at Barracks again.
- Can now research EB, and SotS at the Fletchery Range.
- Fixed an issue where the old Spearmen and Axemen upgrades were still obtainable.
NORSE
- Throwing Axemen and their upgrades have been moved to the Archery Hall.
ATLANTEAN
- Updated Fundibalarius Bored and Walk Animation. Now affected by Levy/Conscript Archery Units and Initiative. -1.5 Crush Damage.
- Levy/Conscript Archery Units now requires Wood instead of Food.
- Shrines now cost extra gold.
- Fixed Centurion Head.
- Arcuballisters now cost +5 Wood, but have +0.25 attack.
- Fertility is now more expensive.
- Fixed an issue where the Ouranos Theocrat icon would pop up, despite being unavailable to Gaia or Kronos.
