Age of Darkness is a mod set in the historical period spanning the two world wars of the 20th century, revolving around the struggle between the forces of liberty, socialism and reaction.
Thanks to Wakain, it dawned upon me that my motorcycle units need mounted weapons, since the bikes are created in the form of 4-crew units. It would not sit well to find that we had a missing MG....
I believe that once this mod kicks off in 2015, it would be the very first mod for Rise of Nations which features attack motorcycles....
Are you adding a machinegun to the sidecart or will it be an unarmed scoutvehicle?
I haven't finished it, because I haven't added the secondary crewmember who's armed with a light MG. Give it time, Mr Wakain .... :)
Also, while I intend to use this as the generic motorbike unit for most factions, the Germans get 2 different ones. The first is for the mechanised Panzergrenadier corps. The second one is for use as a patriot outrider.

Machine guns bikes? Awesome!!
Yup, but because they are LIGHT machine guns, they don't do a lot of damage, although if you use 2 or 3 you can pick of a few enemy units before being allowed to withdraw.
If not, you will just have to use horse units or rely on armoured cars, which while being faster than horses are neither as cheap as a horse nor as fast as a motorbike. Sadly motorised infantry are not avaiiable except to major factions, like France and Germany.
